This airport is fantastic I have pre-booked special assistance for my mum and her cousin well in advance upon arriving at the airport we was greeted by two young men who took us through the security and the passport control within a few minutes they collected our bags for us and took us to the bus … more

“F1 Barcelona & girona”
During our f1 week we took a day trip to girona it was the week they had a flower exhibition it was lovely. I would definitely go back if in that area again the cathedral was beautiful and the back streets all lined with beautiful flowers

“Long way out!”
If you're visiting Gerona there is an airport bus to town... However it doesn't connect with the easy jet flight from Newcastle...I think busses were timetabled alongside Ryanair flights..you may find yourself paying 25 euro for a taxi into town....connections to the Costa more regular.tourist info… more
