This was a great place from from which to explore Santiago de Compostela. Montse & Jose were prompt to answer questions & accommodating regarding check-in time. Jose showed us how to use the appliances (dehumidifier, portable a/c, washing machine, induction stove, tv, radiator & dishwasher) & gave us a list of his favorite restaurants. He had kindly put milk in the fridge &magdalenas on the table. My BF & I stayed in Studio 2B, which is on the second floor overlooking the garden. The bathroom is across from the front door, which was nice as it meant I could shower without waking up my boyfriend. The bathroom was stocked with bath gel, hand soap, & hair dryer as well as towels. The apartment was beautifully remodeled & updated with modern conveniences & we loved the tranquility of the area. A public walkway leading from the cathedral & visitors' center overlooks the garden, but it is not too noisy. Disregard Google Maps' directions and find the many stairways cutting across the city so that your walks will be much shorter! Although Booking lists the property as being non-smoking, the people assigned to the terrace table directly beneath our window spent their days & evenings smoking on the terrace. We ran the portable air conditioner continuously, which made sleep difficult, but we were thankful to have it. Note the bed is a double, not a king as listed on Booking. The windows are great at insulating us from outside noise, but there was noise from the third floor apartment.

“Comfortable well designed apartment!”

This is a great little apartment just a short walk from the cathedral and next to the Tourist Information Office. This is a great little apartment just a short walk from the cathedral and next to the Tourist Information Office. The apartment was comfortable, well designed and modern with a well equipped kitchenette, good bathroom, washing machine and a little terrace garden which would be lovely in summer. We were really impressed that our host José provided us with a printed list of his restaurant suggestions, a list of museums (including opening hours and entry fees) and a city map when we arrived. There were a couple of items in our kitchen that needed maintenance (pedal bin lid and kettle lid were broken) and we found the bed a little soft (we like firm mattresses), but other than that it was a great stay!

“nice, fully equipped and good location! ”

this apartments are new, they are nice and totally equipped. we stayed at 2B unit in second floor, property has a small elevator, our unit had a good size bathroom, one queen bed, single bed, sofa, small table and chairs, tv. kitchenette had everything we needed, we also had dishwasher, washing mac… more

this apartments are new, they are nice and totally equipped. we stayed at 2B unit in second floor, property has a small elevator, our unit had a good size bathroom, one queen bed, single bed, sofa, small table and chairs, tv. kitchenette had everything we needed, we also had dishwasher, washing machine and fridge. we stayed 9 nights and every 3rd day we had someone that cleaned our room and changed towels and linens. parking lot is just a few steps away and theres also a cafeteria. montse was very nice and helped us with booking a taxi and explained to us everything we needed. from this location you can easily walk to praza do obradoiro and all main points of interest. we were very confortable and happy!

“Nice apartment close to the old city, but quiet”

We rented the 2 bedroom apartment for a week in October 2017 and it was all we expected it to be. The apartment was clean and spacious. Jose was punctual and very helpful. The apartment was well stocked for the first day with milk, bottled water and butter. There is a small grocery store at the bottom of the street for every day necessities. The apartment is located a short 5-10 easy walk from the Cathedral and the old city. A small, but good, local restaurant, O Cesto, is close by. The private outside sitting area is a nice haven in good weather. Bottom line is that we would rent this apartment again.
