The hotel is very clean and comfortable and staff were very helpful. The location is good - about five minutes’ walk from places to eat and about ten inutes from the centre of the town. Soundproofing is also good - a bonus as we arrived on the night of the Cervantes market. Decoration is no-frills but all you need and the breakfast, though basic, was quite acceptable. The problem is WiFi - it took numerous attempts to log in and every so often we had to go through the process again. Reception in our room was best in the bathroom! A good place for a stopover, even given the above, and also convenient for the train station. Private parking is a plus.

Good little hotel. we were travelling around Spain. It is very basic and clean and the breakfast was very good. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. Good little hotel. we were travelling around Spain. It is very basic and clean and the breakfast was very good. Staff extremely courteous and helpful. So close to the train station to take you to Madrid Atoche station. Brilliant journey only 6.50 euro return. Didn't see too much of Henares but what we did see was good and people very friendly. Private parking was excellent.

“Convienient”

After driving through Madrid city and deciding not to stay we continued onto Alcala de Henares and it proved to be the best choice we made. Only 30mins to the center of Madrid by car Alcala is a cute, bustling centre with a lot of old buildings as well as an impressive university. We stumbles across the Ciudad by chance and it ended up being a pleasant stay. For the price it was excellent value, parking,breakfast and our babies bed all included in the room price. The staff were the best part of our stay, Dana, Davud, Antonio and the smily lady in the cafeteria were just great. Nothing was too big of an ask for them even if a few things were lost in translation. The room itself was large, big comfortable bed, safe, large but dated bathroom, and a small chair and table setting. The hotel although not right in the middle of the old district is only a few blocks walk. I would recommend this hotel and stay again if the chance arises.

I first went to this hotel two years ago and I was back last week. The hotel is quite simple, but modern and stilish. I like the brown/lime green contrast in the hall and in the rooms, which provides a colourful contrast. Rooms are basic, but comfortable, they are arranged in a patio and look like small apartments. They were very clean, which for me is essential. Sometimes, however, they can be noisy, because they are quite close each other and walls are thin (but I suppose this is a problem of many hotels). People at the recption were friendly and helpful; they provide freewi-fi internet access and this is also worth of being mentioned. The cafeteria where breakfast is served is a typical Spanish bar (in some respects old-fashioned, but in Spain many places look like so), with a vivacious touch. Breakfast is basic, even though I do not complain. I was treated there, so I do not know how much the rooms cost, but I suppose (from the advertisement) that the price for quality is good. The hotel is not in the city centre, but very close to the station. This means that you have to walk to the centre (it takes about ten minutes). I would suggest this place if you want a convenient (in all senses) staying in this nice university city.

We chose this hotel on the basis of reviews on here, and we were disappointed. We stayed for 4 nights and found the hotel to be clean but rather depressing and uncomfortable. The check in was OK and the man on Reception was polite, but our room, situated on the ground floor, off an internal corridor, was dismal, lacking in any natural light and furnished sparsely. The bed had a dreadful cheap memory foam mattress. Some of the interior of the room was painted in dark brown and the lighting was too dim to read by. There was nowhere to sit comfortably. There was a shocking amount of noise from an apparently drunk and hysterical guest on one of the nights. Maybe she didn't like her room either....... The bathroom looked to have been recently refurbished and we were delighted to see it had a bath. We were then less delighted to see there was no plug. The taps on the sink were wobbly. The hotel was very convenient for the train station, but less so for the main attractions of Alcala. The area it's in is lacking in bars and restaurants, other than kebab places. The WiFi signal gave us no problems. In short, if you are looking to spend a night in Alcala, this hotel will do, but if your visit is for longer, you would be better off elsewhere.
