We had to stay in that area of Madrid due to business at the private hospital (directly opposite) and chose the hotel due to location, as preferred not to commute far each day. The room was clean, tidy and not too small, as was the en-suite bathroom. The bed was comfortable and I slept soundly. The staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We only purchased drinks from the bar so cannot comment on the food/restaurant. It would be better if the lounge area was larger, to accommodate more groups etc as there is only one sofa and two arm chairs (if you don´t want to sit at the bar on stools). As that district is predominantly residential and not a typical tourist area, there are not a great deal of restaurants etc within walking distance however there were enough, a few streets away, to amuse us for a few nights. There is a large shopping centre, with the entire top floor providing eating venues (as well as a cinema), which is roughly a 15-20min walk away from the hotel (or a short taxi journey). We arrived by car and found the hotel very easily, with free street parking too. We didn´t venture into Madrid city centre although we were told it was a straight forward 40min journey via Metro.
