We stayed at the hotel with another couple as we went to Murcia for a concert. The hotel is ideally located in the center of the city and only a short walk to our venue. We received a very warm greeting from the receptionists. Our room was very clean and the bed comfortable. Being in the center the views were city views, as in the building across the street, but we didn't choose it for the views. Buffet style breakfast with an excellent selection, a great selection of breads, fruits, cheeses, Spanish omelette as well as scrambled egg, sausage & bacon. Excellent coffee. Everything was carefully laid out and again, very clean. We speak Spanish so were able to watch News headlines, but our friends do not, so an English news channel on the tv would be appreciated by non-Spanish speaking guests. We had traveled by train to Murcia and it was a short taxi ride (8 euros) to the hotel. Same fare returning to the station. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.

We did a lot of research about where to stay in this city and made a great decision by choosing this place. From the moment you check in you feel welcome and valued and we had a very comfortable one night stay there. We were greeted by Adriana on Reception who was wonderful. Helpful, professional and great fun she is a fantastic front of house for the hotel. The location is perfect and right in the centre of things. We had a 1 km walk from the bus station but the hotel has on-site parking very close by. To be honest, the room was quite small but as we were only there for one it didn't matter the space was very well used on the bathroom particularly nice. You had everything you needed in there including a safe, good air conditioning which is important, and a comfortable bed. We also chose a Terrace room which was fantastic and really made our day special as we use the balcony loads. We were room only so I can't comment on the food but a nice touch is that you are given a voucher for a welcome drink which turned out to be a delicious rum punch made specially for us. we enjoyed these out at the tables on the street watching the locals go about their business. The Wi-Fi was very good for the most part although it didn't really reach the terrace which was no big deal. It is free and easy to login into. Overall we had a fabulous stay in this place and wouldn't hesitate to return should we get the opportunity to do so.

“A good choice for the centre of Murcia.”

Friendly reception staff, excellent location, a hop and a skip from the Cathedral. Good paid parking at the parking Glorieta de España, within easy walking distance. Hotel has discounted rate for guests, however if staying for a longer period consider a bono at the pay station, as this works out cheaper. The hotel in middle of a zona peatonal (accessible by taxis or with permission from the hotel ..if you are prepared to negotiate the maze of pedestrianised streets to find it) The breakfast deal that we had was worth it, and there was a good selection each morning. NB, the hotel is not easily accessibly for those using a wheelchair (having often used one with an elderly relative/travel enthusiast.). There are short, but very steep ramps up to reception, and then down to the lift. Would have needed two to push the chair up the slopes, and the brakes on to go down them! Immaculately clean, and despite being in the middle of the city, it was quiet. The main drawback with our room (check when booking) was the proximity of the bidet to the toilet. Probably no more than 15 cms away, which meant that unless you are tiny, be prepared to sit on the toilet sideways, as there is literally no room for your knees/legs. We’re less than 170cm tall, and it was impossible to do otherwise. On departure we chatted to the receptionist, who advised us that the hotel is having a refurb in the summer, and the bidets will be going, as they are well aware of the problem.

This hotel was excellent in terms of location, could not be anymore central. Was spotlessly clean and reception staff very friendly and accommodating, also allowed us an 11.30am check in at mo extra cost as the room was ready. The room was quite compact and more basic than what we’re used to, but perfect for a 2 night stay and given the central location a fair compromise. We had quite a spacious terrace also which is a good trade off for the size of the room. Breakfast was probably not to our taste as didn’t really have a choice of cooked eggs or bacon, although plenty of choice overall in terms of fruit, cereal, pastries, yoghurt, etc. Overall a nice hotel and would definately stay again and recommend to others.
