Spent 4 nights here last week, and played golf 3 times. There was clearly once an intention to build a large housing estate on the road up to the resort, which never happened. It feels quite isolated, although it’s really not that far to the coast, and less than an hour to Valencia. The scenery around the hotel and golf course is spectacular, as it’s nestled between the mountains and orange groves. Absolutely beautiful. Arriving at the hotel we were warmly welcomed and shown to our room. The facility is modern, spacious and impressive. Our room was very comfortable, clean, and had a terrace with great views. Wi-Fi was good. We did not use the spa or the gym. We asked for a table for lunch at 1.30 when we arrived, and were surprised to find that we could only just be fitted in. It became apparent why, as the restaurant was soon full. Not with tourists or hotel guests, as the restaurant is open to all for lunch (not dinner). The food and service were excellent, so we could see why it was so popular. We arrived on a bank holiday, but actually the lunch session was very busy each day of our stay. The hotel was hosting a professional Spanish cycling team for a couple of weeks, whilst we were there, so there weren’t many other guests apart from us. I think there’s only about 48 rooms. We were on half board, and dinner is usually a buffet for hotel guests only. This was a bit tricky with all the cyclists staying. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate us, as it was a bit unusual, and ensure that we weren’t inconvenienced at all. This was very much appreciated. The golf course was as challenging as expected ! Some really great views, greens/fairways in good condition and interesting holes, but we certainly lost lots of golf balls. It was a bit windy, but not wet, and you need a buggy unless you are particularly super fit. The staff were all very friendly helpful and accommodating, and the course wasn’t busy (low season). We enjoyed our stay and would happily return, but need to improve our golfing skills to do the course justice.

“Nice course, terrible receptionist”

Round of golf,1st time visit, really surprised by beautiful views. Do not miss it. Unfortunately golf receptionist was not very helpful, we were really surprised by such a rude behavior ( 3times we were asked if we are only 3players b/c we had a accompanying friend with us, I was asked not to wear… more

Round of golf,1st time visit, really surprised by beautiful views. Do not miss it. Unfortunately golf receptionist was not very helpful, we were really surprised by such a rude behavior ( 3times we were asked if we are only 3players b/c we had a accompanying friend with us, I was asked not to wear my shoes-I was not worn out yet...... On top of everything she served us and was on the phone at the same time!!
