“Oldy worldy oasis of calm.”
This hotel is an oasis. You leave the hot and noisy streets of Kandy and find yourselves in the leafy courtyard of this historic hotel full of wood and character. “Quality dinner in comfortable surroundings”
We did a food tour of Kandy during our holiday to Sri Lanka, which finished with a drink in the courtyard of the Royal Hotel and Bar. “Great drinks spot with beautiful decor”
Beautiful old hotel we popped in to for afternoon drinks. Sitting on the terrace overlooking the street was divine and they had tasty cocktails, with friendly staff. Lots of great memorabilia on the walls and a great location as well - perfect spot to relax after sight seeing
