It’s a rare find… a small, peaceful sanctuary within the city, and a real testament to how carefully they’ve preserved its natural environment. I stayed at Jetwing Ayurveda Pavilions for three days to celebrate my birthday (planned by my husband), and it was honestly one of the most thoughtful and memorable experiences I’ve had. From the moment I arrived, the service stood out but my birthday itself was something else entirely. When I went for breakfast that morning, the staff were already aware and each of them personally wished me. It felt so genuine and not rehearsed. After breakfast, I went for my treatment, and the Ayurvedic doctor surprised me with a complimentary birthday treatment, which was such a kind gesture. When I returned to my room later, the team had decorated my bed with a “Happy Birthday” arrangement, it was such a lovely surprise. Plus a complementary birthday cake! What really made the difference was the consistency throughout the day. Even outside of scheduled activities, staff members came up to me with little flowers and birthday wishes. It genuinely felt like I was the only guest there. That level of care is very rare. Especially in the restaurant, service is almost. Immediate. Personalised Ayurveda & Food: Everything here is tailored to you. The Ayurvedic doctors assess your body type (dosha) and create a personalised meal plan, so your food is not just enjoyable but aligned with your health.And you can genuinely taste the difference. The food feels incredibly fresh light, clean, and full of flavour in a very natural way. Knowing that much of it is sourced directly from their own farm or local producers makes it even more special. It doesn’t feel processed or heavy at all, it feels nourishing. Sustainability You Can Actually See: One of the most unique parts of my stay was getting a private tour with the head of engineering, where I also met the general manager and team. They showed me their private farm, where everything is grown and maintained using natural methods. From the composting systems to the way crops are cultivated, everything is done organically. What stood out is that this isn’t just something they claim, you can actually see it: Butterflies and birds all around the property A natural, thriving ecosystem Composting systems (including natural breakdown processes) supporting plant growth It feels like a space that’s working with nature rather than against it. Water & Energy Systems: The resort is also impressively self-sufficient: They purify their own water on-site Drinking water is bottled within the resort Water is reused responsibly (e.g. for gardens) They rely on natural biological processes rather than heavy chemicals Solar energy is part of their system They also take waste management seriously, with recycling systems in place where materials like paper, metal, and other waste are carefully separated. It’s clear that sustainability here isn’t just a concept, it’s part of their daily operations. Supporting the Local Community: Another thing I really respected is their commitment to sourcing locally. They prioritise: Local farmers Village producers Smaller local suppliers Even with economic pressures, they clearly make an effort to support the surrounding community rather than rely on mass sourcing. A Note on Nature & Insects: I’ve seen some reviews mentioning insects, and I think it’s important to understand the context. Because the resort avoids harsh chemicals, you do get a natural environment with wildlife, like butterflies and birds which is actually a sign of a healthy ecosystem. The resort manages this well: Complimentary insect repellent is provided Rooms have vaporizers and protective measures Personally, I didn’t find it to be an issue at all, it just felt like being properly immersed in nature rather than staying somewhere overly sanitised. Final Thoughts: This stay felt different. It wasn’t just relaxing, it felt intentional.
