“Wonderful family room”
My family stayed here for just one night. We are two adults and two adult children. We had a family room that was fantastic. It was two spacious rooms. “Great budget option”
Reasonably priced. Clean. Good breakfast. Only 10 minutes walk into the centre of Kalmar. Handy for the bridge over to Oland and has free parking. Great budget option for high season. Our room was quite small with two single beds and a bit airless, and had a shared bathroom.

This place is a combo hostel and hotel...or by American standards, more like a "Motel." Regardless, it fit the bill...if you go with the standard room with double beds. “Very good hostel/hotel ”
We enjoyed the night in the Svanen. Nice people, perfect large room, good breakfast. It is not the cheapest but it is great and we recommend it and would come again. The only disadvantage is that pets are not allowed.
