“Good hotel and infrastructure ”

We stayed here with a large group during a week. The room is adequate, comfy bed, big enough bathroom for 2. Reception and bar staff very friendly and welcoming. No problem for them to print and scan an important email. A short walk to the skilift.

First of all it's an old ski lodge hotel and I only paid for the basic skiers room 1014 in the basement one floor down. The elevator was out of order after the first day so dragging heavy luggage up some narrow spiral stairs was inconvenient. The breakfast is extensive and the best thing about the hotel. The WiFi signal is strong and decent. The narrow room has a sofa bed and double pull down bed above it. The TV only has basic aerial channels with not great reception but I watched the Arsenal vs Valencia football match on channel 2 with no issues. About 4 English speaking channels out of 15 on offer. The electric radiator works well drying my ski gear. There is a ski locker room but I think that costs extra as does the 12 metre swimming pool 185 SEK, a spa, sauna and jacuzzi but I never used them. The Gronan bar is good for apres ski with a live band singing English & Swedish songs. The rooms numbered 1100 onwards are on ground level so book those is my top tip. The better bigger rooms are on the higher floors. It has old decor and is a functional hotel. The room shower & toilet is compact and a fat person would have problems using it. The shower is warm and powerful it looks naff but works well. When you make the effort to speak to people it's okay but I see people complain that it's unfriendly but that's an unfair complaint they do the best they can with what they have and their prices are low considering it's a slope side hotel. Worth a visit to experience a different place to see.

Amazing views and nature and a sure bet for good snow depth. Good skiing especially off piste if done carefully. Limited amount of pistes but there issomething for all ages and skill levels. Amazing views and nature and a sure bet for good snow depth. Good skiing especially off piste if done carefully. Limited amount of pistes but there issomething for all ages and skill levels. Group of 6 stayed in skiers rooms. Rooms are small but well disposed, practical and clean. Beds are a bit old and worn but mostly ok if you are very tired. Service is ok. Limited range of food (lobby bar and restaurant) which is expensive due to the remote location but quality is ok and portions are generous. We were unlucky as bottom most ski lift was off-line for repaira and we had to be bussed to closest working lift. If not for this it is almost ski-in-ski-out.
