Traditional architecture and very nice gardens. The room has very good beds and a good bathroom, and quality sofas. The breakfast, rather than on many options, is about high quality, which we liked - the place has own production of vegetables and meat. We were introduced to it by a very cheerful waitress. The fairly large establishment is situated very close the main road E22 that brings from Malmö to Trelleborg, yet isolated enough not to hear noise from that. It is easy to reach Skanör and Falsterbo. We might understand just to some extent some of the negative ratings about the lack of warmth in the welcoming. This was about the first day, it was a bit difficult to get in touch with the personnel due to a malfunction of their phone then the reception was not particularly cheerful as you might expect nowadays - but absolutely not impolite. Otherwise, I found the appearance of the room very formal, sort of cold, missing some color - warmer ceiling light or a pendant would make the difference. Cleaning of the room could have been better, while the bathroom was impeccably clean, I found spots on the table and accumulated dust in the corner of a window. Nothing that made me upset anyway.

Fantastic place; old ecologic farm and hotel, where everything is meticulously chosen to give you the best eco experience. From a wonderfully tasty breakfast with among other things a superb paté, to extremely cozy rooms. The mere feeling of waking up to cows mooing, the friendly family dog, the mill standing against the southern sky. We were there in mid February, still wintertime, but I can only imagine kids and families having a great time in the Spring or Summer.

I would have loved to have given this place 5 stars. The location, gardens and the rooms a really charming and the food in the cafe excellent and I couldn't fault its ethos of organic produce and simplicity. However, I was left dissaponted by a few things. One of the bedside lamps in my room was not fully functioning and flickering with a lose adjustment knob. The remote control for the TV didn't work as one of the batteries had leaked out. Minor issues I could live with. The biggest let down was the attitude and behaviour of the manager and this is unforgivable in a service and hospitality position. I spend 3/4 of my working life in hotels across Europe and I believe this is the first time I've come across such an unsuitable person for the position. Initially I was going to suggest the location for a conference but I had to review this based on the manners of this particular manager.
