The hotel is in a shopping mall calls "Solna centrum". All employees from the reception, house keeping and bar was really friendly and courteous, late check-in was no problem. The reception is open 24 hours. The rooms are big enough, the bathroom was really clean. The hotel has 14th floors, sightseeing from the top of the 14th floor over Solna was really nice. The value and the price per night was really good. Something special atmosphere was to walk inside a shopping mall after the opening time of the mall. A underground station is near at the hotel, you can use the underground to the city of Stockholm in approx. 15-20 minutes. I can recommended this hotel and would be booked at my next trip to Stockholm.

“Great Location, Rough Edges”

Tucked right inside the Solna shopping Mall, this hotel has one of the best locations we've stayed at, but a few practical issues kept it from being a truly comfortable stay. The room itself was where we ran into most of our problems. The "double bed" turned out to be two single beds pushed together, leaving an awkward dip down the middle, and the mattresses were so springy they were hard to sleep on. There was a mattress topper on top that kept sliding to the sides through the night, which didn't help. The sofa beds set up for our kids weren't much better in terms of comfort. The bathroom had its own quirks too: the glass panel beside the tub didn't seal properly, so water leaked out during every shower, and since the tub itself wasn't fixed to the wall, water also seeped out along the sides. The tub even creaked, which was a little unnerving. It sat quite high as well, which could be tricky for elderly guests. On top of that, there's no air conditioning, reception told us this is standard for hotels in Sweden and even at around 25°C outside, the room felt warm. They did provide fans, and swapped a broken one for a table fan promptly when we asked. A couple of smaller misses: the shower gel bottle wasn't refilled and the toilet paper holder was left empty, though housekeeping did clean the room daily even without us leaving a request. Breakfast, served from 7:30 to 10:30, was good without being memorable. I just wished they'd had a Nutella-style spread. The real highlight was the location: right inside Solna Centrum, with our 13th-floor room giving us a great view. One tip for anyone booking, use the metro or bus to Solna Centrum and enter via the Hotellgatan entrance on Centralvägen 16. Skip the tram, as it drops you further away. We made that mistake arriving from the airport with luggage and it was a slog. Also note the shopping center entrances close by 8:30 pm, though you can still get in afterward through a separate door using your hotel key card. Despite the room quirks, this hotel offers great value for money and is well suited to a short stay. Recommended if you prioritize location and don't mind a few rough edges in the room.

“Basic is what it is.”

Finding this hotel was the first challenge as it is nestled in the far corner of a shopping mall which closes at 8pm so dont arrive late. Finding this hotel was the first challenge as it is nestled in the far corner of a shopping mall which closes at 8pm so dont arrive late. The first experience was the reception which was very delightful and friendly, we found all the staff at this hotel very friendly and very helpful. The room.....If we where in the 70"s great but we are not no air conditioning, hotel provided a fan. In the bathroom was a tin bath and a plastic toilet...the shower was in the bath and very old. Give its dues the room was spotlessly clean. No drawers just a cupboard which once had a fridge in, an open wardrobe which just fit 6 hangers in. Plenty of clean fluffy towels and a grab rail in the TIN bath. The room was dark as not a lot of lighting. The switches where straight out of the 70's. There was a bedside light and European plug for bedside charging. As far as location, you are only a bus ride or 2 stop train ride into Stockholm city centre, so great as far as location. Breakfast buffet had fantastic fresh fruit and swedish bread, I tried the rest on day one and left it very crispy bacon, frankfurter mini sausages, beans, scrambled egg, meatballs. Don't be expecting any fancy coffee, with or without milk is your options. Would I come again, probably not but thanks to the staff I had a pleasant stay.
