I can't count on how many times I've passed this old, charming and central located hotel in beautiful Stockholm, but never had the possibility to stay there. Now I've spent my first night there and I'm impressed. My doubleroom was quite small, but lovely interior design and well equipped. A modern bathroom with everything you need. When it comes to breakfast I got very impressed. One of the most perfect breakfast buffet and so beautifully presented. I don't think anything was missing. Plenty of different breads, all kind of fruits and vegetables, a rich choice of cold cut, scrambled eggs and crispy bacon and much, much more. Cozy breakfast room-absolutely perfect. I'd love to come back and can warmly recommend this place.

“Good hotel in a great location”

We stayed three nights in one of their family rooms on the 5th floor. We had plenty of space for four of us, rooms were clean and the beds were comfy. The room looked on to the main road which was noisy at night so you could not sleep with the window open. Breakfast was excellent and the bar had a nice atmosphere in the evenings. The location is fantastic. 10 min walk to the main train station. 5 min walk to the water. You can explore all the main sights on foot from here. Lots of restaurants and bars close by too. The staff were also all very helpful and friendly. It's not luxury but as a base to explore the city it is very good.

We organized a study visit and working sessions with Swedish institutions at the hotel, and overall it felt somewhat overpriced for the full experience, although the location is very central and the general organization and cleanliness were good. The meeting room was excellent - well lit, properly equipped with all necessary technical facilities, and suitable for online participation of lecturers. It comfortably accommodated a group of around 20 participants, and overall the setup worked very well for a group of this size. It would be a useful improvement to have a laptop available on site to ensure fully complete technical equipment for presentations and hybrid sessions. The staff was friendly and very responsive. Everything was set up in a timely manner, and all breaks were delivered exactly as agreed, which contributed to a smooth and well-organized program. For coffee breaks, it would also be preferable to offer a wider selection of coffee options, as the filter coffee was not of particularly high quality. On a positive note, the traditional fika service was very well organized and highly appreciated by the whole group. The rooms were generally clean and well maintained, offering all the essential amenities for a short stay. However, in some rooms the windows could not be opened, which was a limitation for certain guests. Breakfast was excellent and very varied. The lunch on the first day was also very good, but the second day’s meal (burgers) was disappointing for the entire group. This is not what we would typically expect for organized lunches during working sessions and training, and the quality did not meet expectations. Luggage storage is available, easily accessible, and securely handled at the reception.
