Spent four nights at the queens hotel. February. Plenty of choice for breakfast, was the same everyday but enough choice to vary it up. Wifi in our room was very hit and miss to the point I didn’t bother trying. Worked ok in reception area . A big Thankyou to the receptionist Sarah when we checked in. A wealth of knowledge, very helpful lady.

“Great location buy noisy.”

Loved the location of this hotel there is a walking street below with lots of restaurant's, shops, and things to do. The only downfall is that we were on floor 2 and the street noise was very loud.

Very good location. Less than 10 minutes walk to Central Station, right in the shopping area surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants. Check in was quick and easy. Very good location. Less than 10 minutes walk to Central Station, right in the shopping area surrounded by cafes, bars and restaurants. Check in was quick and easy. Free tea and coffee in the lobby (though no English Breakfast tea). Also free water. Quaint old building. Probably was once very glam but has seen better days now. Our room was very small. The twin beds were almost touching and so we had to rearrange some furniture to get some personal space. The bathroom was so small my leg touched the shower enclosure when I sat on the toilet. The shower looked like it was going to be rubbish but was actually very powerful and the temperature easy to control. We were on the second floor and the whole floor had a funny smell. Sort of like sewage but not quite. Not really what we wanted. Hotels in Stockholm are expensive and I have tried to judge this compared to other 3 star hotels rather than by what we would usually get for the price per night in a city hotel. But I cant help but feel of just wasnt very good value. Limited hot breakfast choices and despite mentioning in advance my mum had coeliac and can't eat Gluten, the only thing they could provide was a slice of warm bread (not toast) each day. If we were the first people at Breakfast she could have some cold meat and cheese but if not we couldn't because people kept using the tongs for the cold cuts to pick up bread and then putting them back on the cold cuts plate. There was crispy bacon though which I appreciated.

The location of Queens Hotel is convenient, but there are a few things to be aware of. There’s no elevator working during our stay, which can be difficult if you have heavy luggage or mobility issues. The room was extremely hot during our stay, and unfortunately, there was no air conditioning or proper ventilation. There was a fan in the room which barely worked. We asked twice for a fan but we didn’t get any. We need to open the window however there was alot of noise in the morning. Breakfast was average, but nothing special. Overall, it might be okay for a short stay if you’re not too sensitive to heat or stairs, but I wouldn’t recommend it for a comfortable or extended visit.

Hotel was walkable from the main train station. We were in one of the family rooms which was a corner room so we had extra space. Hotel was walkable from the main train station. We were in one of the family rooms which was a corner room so we had extra space. Others in our party were in the triple or double rooms and their rooms were smaller. The mattress on the bed was extra soft and the sofa bed mattress was extra hard. Our room was on the second floor and we could hear quite a bit of street noise. Additionally, there is NO air-conditioning in the hotel (but they do provide a fan). The rooms felt warm during the day but cooled off in the evening enough to sleep. The breakfast was good with a variety of options.
