“Such a lovely hotel in the nature ”

We had a great stay in this hotel with an excellent restaurant. The employees were all very kind. Thank you for taking care off the taxi costs, so kind of you!! The nicest hotel in Skelleftea, that is for sure!

“Hostel accommodation at reasonable hostel prices - great place”

I stayed here for a week. I booked a single room in the hostel area (extra paid to have sheets/towel supplied but not much). I was responsible for keeping the room clean or could have paid for someone to do it.This was easy with all equipment kept in a cupboard downstairs. I had a comfy single bed (though two pillows might have been better than one) with duvet. The room was basic but pleasant. A table, chair, wardrobe, side lamp, lamp above the bed and main light made it easy at night - and a little rug. A view of a pine tree outside with very busy spotted nutcracker birds to entertain as they worked their way through the pine cones. Toilets/showers were shared, mixed gender but seemed to be cleaner than those I've found in shared toilets in England on the whole. There was a telly room which I didn't use. The self-catering kitchen was in another building with a sauna room which was free to use. Great! The kitchen was well equipped and kept clean by the users and by staff who looked after it every day. The space was generally child-free though children stayed in another part of the complex of buildings. The staff on reception were really helpful and all spoke English. This made me feel more than inadequate as all I could say was 'Hi' but was very handy. I had a very reasonably priced and excellent buffet breakfast on a couple of occasions. Massive range of lovely though probably very fattening food especially if you feel you have to try everything. I cannot fault any of this. (I was so thrilled that it was just 800 per cent better than English youth hostels with space to move and pleasant people to pass the time of day with at less than I'd have to pay in the UK for similar accommodation: and no babies to fall over whilst carrying boiling kettles in the kitchen). The place is in pleasant surroundings, near a good supermarket and it is easy to walk to town along the river or though the old town, unless you have some disability. I believe you could have used a hotel bike. I picked some rasberries as I walked along the river. There was a grand church to look at right opposite the hostel with magnificant light and decor plus some interesting medieval wood carvings. The bus from the airport takes you directly outside the hostel (shame Ryanair have stopped doing runs here). The town is quiet and pleasant and you can hire a car easily to get around to different places, through forests, past reindeer, around the sea, to the Arctic Circle, around rivers and lakes ... forraging as you go! Wifi free in the hotel by the way. Great.

“Quiet and simple”

Stayed as a group in two rooms, a single and a double. Both rooms a decent hostel standard. The breakfast is well worth the money. Appreciated the access to the main house, with guest kitchen of good quality and a sauna. Good surroundings.
