“Lovely hotel in a lovely place”
Charming and well-equipped little hotel, with large old-style rooms that include a four poster bed. Ideally located to explore the highly touristic Lake Vänern region or attend the Läckö Castle opera festival. Attentive and helpful staff. Good breakfast.

“Lacko by Statt”
Situated in the middle of the city by the market place. Keys are fetched from Stadshotellet and breakfast is served in Stadshotellet, very nice and neat place. Good breakfast. Quiet room, free 24-hour parking.

“Nice clean, but old fashioned with big rooms”
I enjoy to stay in this hotel. A Big room makes feel you welcome. Everything is clean, just a bit old fashioned. It’s perfect located the service pretty good. Breakfast was excellent, you will find everything and also a fish buffet in the morning 😉. Definitely recommend!

“what we expected”
Our room was very spacious. The room as well as bathroom was dated but clean. I slept like a princess in a very soft bed. A bedside small fan kept us cool. “Cheap and cheerful... If this is the hotel?! Ours was called the Lacko Grand.”
We stayed here for two nights supporting the FIM world enduro season. Location is excellent but the entrance unprepossessing up a flight of crimson clad stairs and wood clad walls. The room was ok. Beds were comfy and it was clean. Bathroom was functional though towels were small. No shampoo or co… more
