“Excellent, but expensive, hotel in the heart of town”
A superb hotel right on the main square in Appenzell city. A beautiful building, with traditional architecture. Clean and well managed hotel . A multiple generations hotel, the current owner has assembled perhaps the finest wine cellar in switzerland . “One night for a family reunion”
We only stayed there one night for a family reunion. A lovely hotel; very conveniently situated directly on the square. Very friendly staff and a lovely room. Enjoyed an excellent dinner in the hotel with a very efficient, helpful waiter (Bavarian with a Austrian accent). Would certainly recommend.
