We spent one night at this place and we had a lovely time. Bed was comfortable, room was clean, there were toiletries available, there's a little kitchen where we ate (it is possible to cook as well, but also to order). Check in and check out were easy, parking was free. There's a bar downstairs, which we did not try, but it looked nice.

“Interlaken Tell Hotel - Excellent!”

Lovely hotel, location & accommodations! This Interlaken gem is wonderful – lovely rooms, very clean and super helpful staff. Every morning breakfast was delicious and a fun way to start your day by getting to meet other travelers staying at the Tell.

To either Interlaken Ost or West it is around a 15 minutes walk, however there are frequent buses which stop outside to both train stations. All hotel guests in Interlaken are given the Interlaken visitors card on arrival which provides free transport in the Interlaken area for buses and some trains. We liked the area which it is located in and the onsite Irish pub was a bonus and did not affect our sleep although our room was above it. Self check in was a simple process and all information including a tourist map was provided. The room was wood construction which seemed very Swiss to me, however, the floor boards were very creaky both within our room and from the room above. The room was a very good size, with a decent size flat screen tv and a wide range of satellite channels. Storage was open shelving and hooks with hangers rather than large pieces of furniture but there was plenty of space for our clothing. The hair dryer was modern and efficient and the bathroom was an adequate size, the extractor fan was very noisy but also effective. The bed and large square pillows were very soft and did not make for the most comfortable night's sleep for me but that is down to personal preference. The in-room kettle and mugs were a decent size which is always good for a relaxing cuppa. All members of staff were friendly and the two ladies who ran the tourist office, organised check-in and breakfast were exceptionally pleasant and helpful, always taking the time to chat and help with ideas and suggestions. Breakfast was the usual spread of cold meats, cheeses, cereals, eggs and a basket of warm bread and freshly made coffee, very tasty. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here.

We came here many years ago and had a lovely stay. This time we were in a twin room which was cosy, warm and adequate. But pillows were so flat, bed was very soft and the floorboards are so noisy. We were entitled to a free bus pass but were not given it even after asking the owner by text several times. Also asked for extra pillows but none received. Didn’t even meet the owner or anyone who worked here. Is very handy for buses and for Outdoor Interlaken literally just down the road. So quite a mixed stay!
