“Quite good value for money and great view”

The location, view on mountains is absolutely great! Close to walking paths in woods and mountains. Lovely villages around. Breakfast is usual continental, nothing extraordinary. There's a free parking and good price which includes breakfast comparing with the competitors. There was no enough soap in bathroom, just remains. Pillows and blankets are not so convenient for sleep. Wireless Internet is provided in general but no coverage to connect to it. The hotel personnel is quite welcoming, although not extremely friendly.

“Cycle touring”

Simple and clean hotel, little bit old fashioned and cluttered. Had a room at the back of the hotel with a balcony, amazing views and sunset. Both breakfast and dinner were ample and of good quality. Simple and clean hotel, little bit old fashioned and cluttered. Had a room at the back of the hotel with a balcony, amazing views and sunset. Both breakfast and dinner were ample and of good quality. Little bit away from the more touristy areas, but ideal location for our cycle tour. Good wifi through out hotel. Problems with the card machine on check out was a little bit stressful they had to reboot it a number of times, but payment eventually went through.

“Marvelous Restaurant; Delicious Food, Great Chef; Super Service”

While staying in a nearby B&B, we ate supper here 3 nights of the 5 that we were in Switzerland. It was Spargel [asparagus] season and they offered several specials. While staying in a nearby B&B, we ate supper here 3 nights of the 5 that we were in Switzerland. It was Spargel [asparagus] season and they offered several specials. The Friday night we arrived I enjoyed the delicious asparagus & veal in cream sauce served with rosti [Swiss style hash browns]. The next week a Swiss orgeli [concertina/accordion] group was staying there for their annual week long seminar when they practice together and teach one another tunes. Though Monday is the restaurant's closed day, our B&B arranged for us to eat there when the music group had supper. Unfortunately due to rail construction in central Switzerland, trains ran late & we missed our intended Postal bus. So we were 45 minutes late and prepared to skip supper, but they graciously served us a tasty stew with mushrooms. We then enjoyed the music session. Tuesday, our last evening in Switzerland, we again ate at the Restaurant Bärgsunne. I had a fantastic Wiener Schnitzel of tender veal with a beautiful colorful delicious variety of vegetables: broccoli, yellow and orange carrots, zucchini, kohlrabi and cauliflower served with pomme frittes [French fries]. My husband had a superb asparagus, ham, potato and cheese omlet. And if the food and music were not enough, we were treated to a glorious sunset with the snow capped alps glowing pink through the large picture windows or from their outside front seating area for a panoramic view. I certainly hope to return when we can get back to Switzerland.

“Good hotel with beautiful sight, location a bit off”

Good and comfortable hotel with very spacious room. Staff was very friendly although with very limited English capability. Breakfast was very good and again the serving staff was very polite and friendly. One needs a car to reach although I have seen a public bus stop nearby.
