We visit the Hotel Kulm in Arosa during the easter weekend and enjoyed every minute of our stay, and loved the very warm welcome by the staff. The atmosphere was very, very relaxed, it was off season in the Hotel and in the Arosa village and ski area what we experienced as lovely. We enjoyed the nice long days, not to many big crowds and ski-slopes nearly for us alone. The food and service in the hotel is as always on a very high level and we absolutely recommend the dine around. We are a real fan of the cuisine from chef Florian Mainzger. The dishes he and his team made are with local fresh ingredients and a high level of fine cuisine in the Muntanella restaurant, served by a fantastic staff and Manager. The daily menu in Muntanella changes and this makes dinner everyday to a surprise and when booked dine around you can mix the daily menu with the always available. We also had dinner in Ahaan Thai, it’s so special that the food is made by real Thai chefs in a fantastic atmosphere and cosy restaurant, we just love it……and it’s delicious. The taverne when you are a meat, pizza pasta lover you will always find something there for your tast. Nice and cosy atmosphere with a nice taste and twist. We were lucky to get a reservation in Piz Kulm, Swiss cheese fondue in a majestic spot overlooking inner Arosa, the whole skiarea and the Grisons-alps. What a fantastic experience, very tiny restaurant on the pinnacle of Kulm, sharing a table with other guest what give a nice cosy atmosphere. We eat too much cheese, potato, bread and Grison-meat, but it was a wonderful experience. The barstaf, what an amazing girls and guys, thanks so much making our stay special. A special thanks to Julius and Kevin thanks for the nice talks and laughs. A big thanks to the sommelier for the recommendation of the wines, chapeau. The breakfast staff, every morning with a smile and bringing us everything we need to have a great start of the day. Lukas the concierge, as always friendly, service orientated, time for a chat, a talk and a laugh about cars. Also a big thanks for the guys who take care of the car, the luggage and questions we had. Thanks to the staff who took care of our room, the fresh bedlinnen, the turndown service at night, thanks so much for all your effort. We wish we could personally say all the names from all the staff to thank. Sebastian from guest relations thanks helping us out with the jackets, it was hilarious. To all who work behind and in front of the scenes at Kulm, the guy cleaning the floor and windows, the staff in kitchen, cleaning everyone we have not seen but make the stay at Kulm possible, thanks so much for all the effort. To Bardhyl, Tuncherr and Gregor, thanks so much for everything as always we feel very special and welcomed in Kulm and we appreciate this very much. Thanks and see you soon.

“Ticked ALL the boxes!”

Having stayed quite a bit in high end hospitality and also worked in a hotel myself, the Arosa Kulm Hotel ticked all the boxes. Its all in the details, and the things below is something I often find lacking in resorts. But not in this place! 1. Serviceminded & helpful staff from check-in to check-out 2. VERY clean rooms! Yes, I am picky there :) Spotless bathroom, where even the toilet roll holder was so shining it could have been a mirror 3. Good lighting for makeup in bathroom 4. Excellent hairdryer, and not those automatic ones that takes forever to dry your hair 5. Shampoo, conditioner, soap and lotion that smelled so nice I would have buyed for home if these were for sale in the lobby-shop 6. Lots of hot water in the shower, good pressure and a proper showerhead (compared to old and dribbling ones) 7. The eve prep for the night with a little chocolate, closing curtains and slippers in front of bed has the personal touch that really matters 8 Pool in spa has a pleasant temperature, and water is not overly tossed with chlorine 9. Breakfast that has loads of healthy options 10. Thank you from Norway, I hope to be back soon Martha <3

Exceptional place with great staff, food and service! Perfect for skiing! The four restaurants serve a great variety of food and the wellness area is very nice and relaxing. We will return for another stay in December for sure. Thanks for having us!

Amazing location, views, service, food and vibe. Rooms a little dated (but very well maintained). Rooms appear to be part of the refurb plan though. The staff couldn’t do enough and were a real stand out. Having four separate restaurants was great and all were very good. Breakfast was great but service a little more chaotic than expected for coffee etc. Offering was very good though. Location was perfect, very easy for train station - hotel arranged collection. Spa treatment was excellent, spa itself lovely. Pool nice but a little cold and jacuzzi could definitely be warmer.
