“Good family stay”

I stayed at this place with my family. Its an average room with just ample things you would need. The room was tidy and clean. The best thing was the automated secure checkin-checkout. Place is walking distance from Emmenbrucke train station and bus stop is also close by with good frequency of buses to Luzern central. Recommended only for small families or couples. Room had a coffee maker, but availability of some basic groceries like sugar, salt in the room was missing.

The hotel itself is nice, 3.5 stars plus another 0.5 for the birds chirping in the morning. The position is fantastic. It has a lot of green around. There are small animal farms close to the hotel and if your are lucky enough you can pet the sheep! It is a bit far from the city, but the property offers a public transportation pass for the entire stay, so you can take the bus to go to downtown in a short time. The room is nice, it has a small kitchenette and a small TV. It is very spacious and from the balcony you have a great view. The flooring could use some maintenance, ours was extremely scratched by other visitors. A bit pricey.

3.5 stars. Stayed for 2 nights. Nice apartment hotel. Good communication with hotel about questions. Don’t forget to get the free travel card from the hotel where you can travel around Luzern for free. Bus stop is 5min from hotel and 10min to city centre or train station is 8min walk and 5min journey to the centre. There’s a small shopping complex across the river with a lidl and a few shops and eateries. Easy check in with the mobile app which also provides the key from the hotel and room. We arrived after check in time so don’t know if the digital key is available slightly beforehand. Google tells you to enter from the back by the parking garage but the entrance is through the main road. Room. Nice room. Could sleep 3 people with a pull out bed. Weird shelf above the bed with a non working light underneath. Little kitchenette with microwave, stove, kettle, coffee machine (we had 4 coffee pods), fruit tea (no breakfast tea), sugars, cups and utensils. Little table with chairs and arm chair. Tv. Wall coat hangers, Fan and wardrobe. Double French doors which could be tilted. However beware of all the bugs and spiders that come in from the tree/river? outside Room furnitures are a bit scuffed and chipped so needs a bit updating. Walls were a bit scuffed and dirty around the dining table from food. Maybe a lick of paint? Bathroom, nice size bathroom with clean towels however I always find there’s not enough hook/hangers for towels in Switzerland. No hairdryer, shower/hair wash. Only hand wash provided. Sleep. Comfy clean beds, however I personally don’t like the big square pillows. Our room was close to the main road and above the rubbish storage so was noisy, especially as the weather was hot and we kept the windows open. There’s a vending machine in the building with snacks, and extra coffee pods and washing detergent for the washer and dryer.
