The Barabas Hotel Luzern was a terrific place to stay- my husband and I stayed in the Japanese double room with a private bathroom, which was absolutely perfect for us. I didn't realize when I booked this that it was a converted jail and it was a fun surprise. If you are looking for 4 or 5 stars, this isn't it. “Funky and No Frills, Spotlessly Clean, Small rooms but Perfectly Formed”
The best choice I made in Luzern was staying here at Barabas. The location is perfect, the rooms are spotlessly clean and tidy, and it's warm, dry, and excellently run.
