“Vacation in Switzerland”
Excellent central location to attractions and train station. Comfortable rooms. Can get noisy at night with neighbouring bars and church bells. Bar and restaurant are first rate. The staff (esp. Michael the GM) were very attentive and very hospitable.

“Friendly three star hotel”
Visited for one night , staff so friendly and a goodish breakfast , my room tiny but adequate...... it all seemed like a trip back to 1959 in this tiny town which incredibly is capital of the Canton. Parking was easy and all in all a wonderful stop for one night on the way to Italy

“Too expensive”
This hotel is very average. It is difficult to criticise in any serious way, the bed and shower were OK the pillows were not any good, and the breakfast was fine. The issue is the price. 200CHF is about 90CHF more than it should be. We stay away a lot, like 100 nights a year and this place is just… more
