“Great choice!!”
Very good choice for budget friendly hotel at train, complete breakfast was included, clean, comfortable room. Staff were very friendly, especially enjoyed meeting Matea, our waitress at dinner and breakfast, she’s a very hard working professional.

“A great place to stay for visiting Zermatt.”
A great place to stay for visiting Zermatt (if you cannot find something reasonable in Zermatt itself, which was the case for our family of 5). We had a great stay, the rooms were nice, no issues, right next to the train station. The breakfast was good. Dinners were good too.

We checked into Hotel Tascherhof next to the train station. This is an older hotel showing signs of wear inside and out. “Good location”
Excellent location close to the station from which the shuttles to Zermatt leave. Trains run close to the hotel but aren't particularly noisy. Nice big room with a balcony.

Tascherhof hotel consists of two parts - older and newer. We were in the older part which we found quite satisfactory.
