This hotel is located just outside the historical city of Zug on the trunk road connecting the old town with the main motorway connecting Zurich with Lucerne. The latter is just 20 mins drive away whilst central Zug should not take more than 05 mins. Behind the hotel is a mainly light industrial area, whilst over the road is farmland.
The breakfast room is just off the lobby and is a small, simple room with dark wooden furniture. Lunch and dinner are taken at a restaurant just round the corner.

“Wonderful stay”
My job took me to Zug, and I stayed at the Swisshotel Zug for 5 days before my flat was ready. Super room and very friendly and helpful staff. “Great place for short business trips”
Great place for short business trips. Rooms are cozy, breakfast is good) It is located slightly far from the city center, but it's not a problem as the train station is 5 minutes away. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Decent enough for a business stay”
The hotel is about 3-4km from the city center with no other restaurant in the vicinity. So, if you are without a car, then you are pretty much stuck at the hotel. The rooms are okay and must say have all the basic stuff in. Nothing major to talk about. Is decent enough if you are on a business trip.

“Okay for short business stays”
Typical mid-range hotel located in an industrial area. Despite being close to a major road, the room was quiet. The interior of the room and the common areas was a bit outdated, but overall in good condition. Good breakfast buffet.
