“Great value”
While Hualien may have more B&Bs than hotels, this is a quality option. Ocean Hotel is a pleasant place with clean and spacious room. Breakfast is fair and free coffee and snacks are available all-day. Staff is friendly and passionate about Hualien and eastern Taiwan area. Price is very reasonable.… more

“Two nights ocean view gotta love it”
Very nice hotel exceptional service the breakfast alone is worth staying here amazing I had a room with an ocean view a Freighter came in a freighter left very cool the beds are good the building is immaculate very clean I highly recommend this hotel I had a huge bed

“Friendly staff and good location”
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They only have the pinkup service till 18:00, however our train only arrive on 18:15, but they still offer the pickup service for us, very appreciate that. As others have said, there is no window, so you need to set alarm to wake up in the morning. Breakfast is not available and hard to find somewhere nearby. Many shops don't open until after 11am.
