I was there with my family in May 2012. The hotel is decorated with sculptures of local aborigines and the staff are dressed like safari park rangers, which kind of lighten things up. Even though I was only there for a night, the staff were very kind to me as to answer my queries about the place and the activities that are available around at night. Sad to say, there is almost nothing to do outside of the hotel at night. However, there is a live band at the atrium every night. If not compared to international pop stars, I'd say that they are fabulous. They can really get the crowd so hyped up that everybody just starts dancing and cheering. Facilities in the hotel are fairly good. The hot spring spa is a must try as it is their local specialty. As for the rooms, because the 3 of us were in the same room, the hotel gave us a larger room as compared to our companions. The standard rooms comes with only 2 beds but mine came with 4. I believe the rooms are as good as other hotels of the same standard, if not, better. The only real complaint I have is the wifi connectivity. Being in a technologically advanced era, I believe wifi is a must-have. Not that it's not available. But the connectivity is simply too weak. I had to go to the hotel lobby just to connect myself to the internet. And the lack of late night activities available in the immediate surroundings is utterly disappointing. All in all, this hotel is great. Friendly services and great atmosphere. It's highly recommended for those who wants to enjoy peace and serenity.

“Very good hotel”

I stayed at Naluwan Hotel for a night in Nov 2011. The hotel is decorated to resemble local aborigines taste and overall, the hotel is quite good. TV, air-con, selection of breakfast, and toiletries kits are all up to 4-star standard. the only problem is there is only 1 elevator.

“OK for the price”

hotel is a little out of the way but just within walking distance of the railway station. Not any decent places to eat in the vicinity so have to go downtown. Room is ok and bathroom just about ok. Staff are very polite and try really hard.
