“Old but Good Customer Service”

The buildings are rather old, but clean and tidy. There are 3-4 buildings which house customers. The main building is Block A which house the reception and the restaurant. I was in Block B which was just behind Block A, ie 2 minutes walk. It would be a bit inconvenient if I were to be housed in the further blocks, even though they will drive a van to pick my family up. There are no lifts in the blocks, so if have elders, try to ask for a ground floor room. The higher level rooms have better view though. There is a pouch in front of Block A and the view is fantastic. When weather is good, there are seats where one could just sit and watch the views. My family has a quadruple room with 2 double beds. There is a balcony with table and seats but it was rather cold and rained. The restaurant is not big and you would need to reserve a table for dinner. Though there are not many varieties to choose, the food quality was above my expectations. I liked the table occupied/free stand(see picture). They have a complimentary garden tour, which will last about an hour. The guide will bring the group around the garden and explain about the different plants that they have. The guide will also pluck tomatoes for us to taste and plants for us to smell. We could also bring back some of the plants to grow them. Good educational tour. Overall, it was a good stay. Think it will be even better if the weather was dry and sunny.

Lodging is about a 3.5 star hotel. Hotel is situated on higher ground (especially Blks A and B) so it offers lovely views. That's a big plus for this accommodation. The downside is that there're no lifts so accessibility with luggage can be an issue. Staff was not very friendly as well and did not offer to help with luggage during check out. Breakfast was provided but it could extend till 10am for late risers. Breakfast was briskly cleared at 9.30am. Might stay again as it's very clean, and Cingjing seems to lack reasonably priced good accommodation.

The hotel rooms are scatter around the area. There are few blocks within the compound. You need to call the main line so that they will arrange van to pick you up to the dinning area or send you back to your block after meal. The room is spacious and come with bath tub. The hotel rooms are scatter around the area. There are few blocks within the compound. You need to call the main line so that they will arrange van to pick you up to the dinning area or send you back to your block after meal. The room is spacious and come with bath tub. The scenery is marvelous. Our room is located at level 3, the highest level and come with a big clear glass. Once you look out was the down hill/mountain scene. Very beautiful. The dinner come with a selection of main course and buffet counter. The food was great. TV channels was fantastic. Too many channels to choose from. A very cooling area and great place to stay over. However, you will feel bore if stay more than 2 night as there is no activities within and around the accommodation area.
