“Beautiful Views and Stay!”

The views, accommodation, food, everything was amazing at this hotel! We stayed here for one night during our honeymoon, and we really enjoyed it. The infinity pool that overlooked the crater was a highlight.

Holy cow. We walked into our suite to a view of the entire Ngorongoro Crater. The room was impeccable: spacious living room, with a coffee and minibar, enormous and luxurious bed, and lovely spacious and well-equipped bathroom. The hotel itself had two dining areas, both serving excellent food, a lounge area with a fire, a spa, a pool, and a bar that included an open deck also looking down on the crater. The staff was outstanding (including a few Maasai tribesman who were lovely to speak with). Everyone was generous with their time, all requests were accommodated, and everything included an enormous smile. One of the best hotel experiences of my life.

“Breath Taking.”

This is a gorgeous hotel, overlooking the Ngorongoro Crater. Our room was lovely, the lobby is gorgeous, views are gorgeous. Heated outdoor pool, where a Cape Buffalo made an appearance! Well equipped gym, nice staff.

Ngorongoro Melia Lodge sits in one of the most stunning locations imaginable, and our room made the most of it — an unbeatable, sweeping view straight into the caldera that we never got tired of. The rooms themselves were spacious and beautifully appointed, decorated with authentic Masai artwork that gave the space a real sense of place. The reception and housekeeping teams were excellent throughout our stay — check-in was seamless, and our room was kept immaculate every day. We also made good use of the property's amenities, especially the gym and the heated infinity pool, which was a wonderful way to unwind after a long day of game-drive. The food was a definite highlight — the restaurant served genuinely fabulous, delicious meals. That said, the restaurant staff's service could have been more attentive and courteous, and it did affect our experience for a moment. However, when we voiced our concerns, manager Emma Clarke stepped in immediately and went above and beyond to make things right for the rest of our stay. Her attentiveness and genuine care turned things around completely and left us with a truly memorable experience. Ngorongoro Melia Lodge's incredible setting, comfortable rooms, and Emma's exceptional leadership made this a stay we won't forget.
