“Unforgettable place and unforgettable fashion show”

Wonderfully place to stay for holiday best team animation team are really nice and professional, Recreation Manager is well organized and guests interaction. Food was delicious, room was spacious, immaculates and well maintained. Staff are extremely helpful and smiling Hopefull to back again!

Just returned last week from this gorgeous resort. Quick summary review: Pro's: Spacious clean rooms. Tip the cleaner on day 1 and you will be guaranteed an immaculate room throughout your stay! Plus double showers and sinks as a bonus. Storage space limited but we made do. Turn down service every evening including spraying the room with insect repellent and closing the nets around the bed. Definitely helped. Plenty of food choices. And chef Victor, Vinod and Helal were on hand to whip up something different for us or the kids, if the menu did not suit. Themed nights were amazing, especially during Easter. The pool bbq set up was spectacular! Daily activities available, for both adults and children. Animation team are great with kids! Beach is neat and tidy with a bar a restaurant. Be aware that the tidy only comes in after 3pm but great fun exploring far into the ocean before that. Beach between Diamonds and Tui has little shops, tours, jet skis and massage tents (if you don't mind the hassle of being pushed to see their items - all harmless though). We had quite a few massages there for $15 each (the ladies were amazing - got see Amina or Lisa!). Wifi throughout, even in our rooms. Had a dinner arranged on the beach for our dad's 75th celebration. Great set up! (additional cost fyi). Used the clinic when our son was very ill. Doctor was kind, helpful and did not charge us. Tours we did with a recommended guide that a family member previously used. This guide was the best we ever had on a holiday and very accommodating with a group of 7 adults and 4 kids. We did various trips - Salam cave (swimming with turtles), Jozani Forest (give this a miss), Spice Farm (amazing!), Stone Town, Prison Island, Safari Blue full day, Rock Restaurant (just hubby and I, expensive but worth it) and the highlight - dolphin swimming! The experience of swimming multiple times with dolphine in the wild within arms length is one of the best things I did in my life! Happy to share Uthman's details with you - reasonable as well. Cons: Very slow service in dining areas - to the point the meal is finished and still awaiting that bottle of water! Low water pressure and cold showers late at night. If you expect to have a quick shower before bed, forget it. Seemed to be a regular occurrence and when complained, they said it's an issue in the hotel that they are aware of. We believe its a geyser and no more hot water available issue. No phone in room although reception staff was available and responsive on WhatsApp. No much (or rather no) step free access. Request a garden room near the resort entrance which seemed okay although you can't avoid the stairs to the pool, beach or entertainment area. Was a bit of a struggle with the stroller or dodgy knees. Distance from everything on the island. Took a minimum of 1 hour to go anywhere, given the bumpy non maintained roads. Resort is also quite isolated. Don't forget your insect repellent (with DEET), ponchos for those sudden showers in rainy season, water shoes and $1 for tips and plenty of cash for shopping. Items in the markets and shops are ridiculously overpriced and only few dollars cheaper than the airport. And you need to haggle those market / beach sellers! And watch out for those giant snails and other little animals at night on the paths. All in all a great resort :-)
