A regular haunt of mine, but have never reviewed, Huge endless array of fresh seafood Alaskan crab, oysters from Europe sushi bar, and prepared to order lamb chicken and beef truly outstanding and Excellent value for money even a cheeky wee bottle of nice wine to wash your dinner down with at around 900 baht which is very reasonable for a 5 star hotel. The staff are always efficient and very friendly and bend over backward to make sure you have an enjoyable diner Definitely worth a visit or two when you are in the Asoke area 5 *

Our 29-day stay from March through the end of April at Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit, a Luxury Collection Hotel was nothing short of exceptional—truly one of the finest hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the very first moment, the welcome was warm, genuine, and memorable. What really sets this hotel apart is the people: the staff consistently went above and beyond, greeting us by name, remembering our preferences, and making us feel completely at home. Their attention to detail and sincere care made a long stay feel effortless and special. In fact, we could not find fault with any staff member—it’s almost impossible to single anyone out, which says everything about the consistency and quality of the team. That said, we would still like to sincerely thank a number of wonderful individuals who went that extra step to make us feel like part of their family: Anaphat, Ritdhidon, Pittaya, Boonprapong, Itthichat, Piyapong, Anisa, Tunachai, Chanikan, Karl, Veerapat, Jareemet Kun Eddie, and Boom. Each of them contributed to making our stay truly unforgettable. Cleanliness throughout the hotel is outstanding, and the rooms are spacious, beautifully appointed, and extremely comfortable. The property offers excellent value for what you receive—this is a well-established hotel that clearly maintains very high standards. Its location is also superb, directly linked to the BTS Asok station, yet remarkably quiet, with no disturbance from noise—offering the perfect balance of convenience and tranquility. The pool is simply the best you’ll find in Bangkok—a stunning oasis that feels like a tropical resort, surrounded by lush greenery and flowers. It’s a peaceful escape right in the middle of the city. Dining was outstanding throughout, with a special highlight being Rossini's, where Chef Stefano delivers truly superb cuisine. Evenings at The Living Room were another favourite, with fantastic live jazz and a wonderful atmosphere—made even better by the attentive and friendly team there. A special mention must go to the General Manager and the senior leadership team, who were incredibly welcoming and visible, setting the tone for the impeccable service across the entire hotel. This is more than just a luxury hotel—it’s a place where you feel genuinely valued. After nearly a month, it felt like home—and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Bangkok.

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times. I like it, and love the aquamarine tiles in the bathrooms. I have stayed in this hotel a number of times. I like it, and love the aquamarine tiles in the bathrooms. However, the breakfast and buffet experience in the Orchid cafe is like eating in a cattle shed. Queuing for a table for breakfast just isn't acceptable but is a regular occurrence and the tables are rammed in so closely that any impression of luxury disappears. Staff are however charming and pretty efficient. Food not bad. (One minor point if you order wine in the Orchid it takes them ages - since the wine is stored miles away- and when they come back and say the wine is not available, you ask yourself, why don't' they put a red dotted sticker on the wine list, to let customers know it's out of stock - not rocket science???). Over-crowing is one of the problems with this hotel. The pool is small but nice, however, they offer some membership/ day passes for non-residents, that means at certain times it is packed. To the extent that this stay, I haven't even bothered to go there. Rooms are nice, bathrooms (as mentioned) lovely, reasonably good soaps, and staff are highly pleasant - but I fear I need to go somewhere which feels a bit more special next time I am in town.
