We spent 10 days at Ace Resort Hua Hin for our honeymoon, and it was absolutely fantastic. The place has a lovely boutique feel — small enough to feel personal and special, but still big enough to offer everything you’d expect from a full resort. We booked a poolside room with direct access to the pool, which was perfect. Being able to step straight into the water whenever we fancied was a real treat, and the bed on the terrace was incredibly comfortable. Even though it was low season and the hotel was very quiet, the staff kept everything running beautifully. They still set up all the facilities each day and even put on the Saturday beach party for us — it ended up being just the two of us, but they looked after us so well regardless. That level of effort really stood out. We chose a package that included ordering from the set menu. It could have become a bit repetitive over 10 days, but it was excellent value for money, and the food was genuinely fantastic. The Tamarind Prawns were the best we’ve had anywhere. All the staff were incredibly friendly, and we want to give a special mention to the cleaner who kept our room spotless. She created the most amazing towel art we’ve ever seen. We were a bit too tired to show our appreciation properly at the time — we’d just travelled for 20 hours — but the flower and towel display was stunning. The gym is great, the included spa massage was lovely, and the hotel sits right on a beautiful, quiet beach where you can watch the local fishermen heading out most nights. It’s peaceful, laid-back, and blissfully free from the usual tourist crowds — just on the edge of the bigger hotel zone. The free shuttle to the nearby towns was also much appreciated. All in all, it was an amazing honeymoon experience and we’d happily return. Only one tiny suggestion: please avoid playing AI-style music around the bar — it gets a bit annoying after a while!

I recently stayed at Ace of Hua Hin Resort, and it was such a relaxing escape. The beachfront location is beautiful — peaceful and quiet, perfect if you want to unwind away from the busy town. My room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of tasty options. The only small downside is that it’s a bit far from central Hua Hin, so you’ll need transport if you plan to explore or enjoy the nightlife. But overall, it’s a stylish and well-designed resort that’s great for a calm, beachside getaway.

We had a family reunion with families from USA, Australia, Thailand and Laos. We also celebrated my parents wedding anniversary. The staff assisted with a lovely greeting message on arrival. I organized a special dinner and staff were so helpful in the lead up, there were some bumps along the way (may have been a communication issue) but we worked it out and had a great anniversary dinner for my parents. The hotel was beach front, modern and clean a bit far away from other things but if you want seclusion, then this place is great for that.

“Poor building planning. B'fast needs improvement.”

Pro: Staff is good & cheerful. Pork skewer in B'fast is very good. Nice infinity pool. Very useful shuttle to main town (need additional trips at 6pm & 8pm). Cons: The architecture is weird. No straight access. You need to use the car ramps for reaching the pool/beach! Steep beach with broken glas… more

No straight access. You need to use the car ramps for reaching the pool/beach! Steep beach with broken glass. Be careful. They ran out of Perrier/Evian water! B'fast fruits of poor quality. King beds are actually 2 twins joined. So gap in middle & the 2 mattresses move apart. AC fan is noisy Other maintenance issues, which should have been pointed out by housekeeping, instead of the guests.
