We arrived here at the end of a four day cycling tour. Dirty and sore, we felt that the staff were friendly and polite, helpful. There is no laundry service but a staff member took our clothes to a laundry for us and delivered back the next day. The resort is a fair way out of town however a taxi is an easy option and the staff helped us order one each day. Our room was very pleasant, clean and tidy with lots of space and storage. I really liked staying here and would stay again.

I came and stayed in I am chiangrai in Nov 2016 for 3 nights with my partner and his mother. I think in season this hotel could be very nice. The rooms were very clean and large with good air con. The manager was very nice, he explained he had only been there one month and I feel like he could really make it great. It also very quiet. There was a few down points.. The manager was the only staff member to speak English. It was hard to communicate when checking in and about breakfast. Sadly there was no one else staying there and it didn't look like they were ready to take guests. The pool was green and out of order which was a shame because it was one of the reasons we stayed, we had to ask about it and they response was that it was out of order. It also now has a roof so you can't sun bathe and it doesn't look like the photos anymore. A few of the rooms that don't have windows were very damp because of the air conditioning so we asked to move. The second room we got was much better. For breakfast there wasn't a choice; it was two fried eggs, toast and some luncheon meat... Nobody spoke English so it was hard to communicate that one of use was a vegetarian. They also didn't cook it when we arrived, they would cook it before we got there so it was cold. We didn't eat it because we had no idea how long it was standing there. We bought cereal and had our own breakfast. I must say, its very far away from the town. You will need to hire a car or bike or pay for taxi's although taxi's aren't to keen to go so far out of the city. We once waiting 30 minutes to get a taxi to come to the hotel. There are only a few shops but with no pool there was literally nothing to do. In high season and with everything working I'm sure this could be a nice hotel but just not yet.

I cannot express enough how nice and genuinely helpful the people were here. The property itself is impressive, unique and over a big space. The room we stayed in which was the middle rate was great. The pool now has a roof area as the manager said the pool was consistently getting dirty but in my opinion it still was a little. My boyfriend had a swim but I didn't go in, it had abit of debrey floating and just needed abit of a spruce. However it was a good size and had a little waterfall fountain at one end. I think we were the only ones staying there due to low season and because of this breakfast was served at a time we chose and was set, we didn't get a choice. The location is much further out than we thought and due to the location we had to order taxis which charged an extra 20 baht for call out. It took about 10 min drive to night market and getting back by tuc tuc would rarely be cheaper than 120 baht. A couple of suggestions for manager- Offering a free shuttle service to night bazaar even if it was just twice in the evening would make the location much less of an issue. Or even a discounted rate of maybe 50 baht. The staff were lovely but most did not speak much english, maybe having a choice for breakfast with pictures would help. The cost we got through agoda was cheaper than direct booking and if things were up and running in high season would have been worth it but offering better discount in low season would definitely help.
