Me and our family of 6 stayed this June and had the most incredible time. First impression upon arrival, aesthetically pleasing, resort, just like most of Anantara’s hotels. Friendly staff, smooth check-in. The rooms, we had a 2 bedroom suite with a terrace and jacuzzi and it was one of the most gorgeous rooms we’ve stayed at. As we are 6, one had to sleep in the bed sofa, and one in an extra bed, but this was no issue getting fixed. Cleanliness was spot on, and the room still felt spacious, despite being 6 people. The terrace and jacuzzi was a big plus, although mosquitoes and small midges would bite. Amazing pillows, amazing attention to detail. Washing machine and free laundry options with up to 4 pieces of clothing per day was impressive to say the least. Lovely toilets. Nothing to complain about within the noise level all over the hotel. Pool was incredible, with a deeper and a more shallow part. Shower by the pool, nice sunbeds, complimentary cold water by the pool is a massive plus. Toilets closeby the pool, fresh and up to standard. Beach 50 meters away. Bar by the pool. Only downside was the biting midges, they look like small black harmless flies, but they bite and itch more than a mosquito. Awesome activities, we did muay thai, archery, rock climbing and pickle ball, all of them super fun, with super helpful instructors, who were super kind, especially mapo/maipo/mepo. We luckily got an upgrade during our stay and got included breakfast. Breakfast options are also very good. Maybe not the largest or broadest of options, but with very high quality and with much attention to detail. Egg station, coffee station, korean inspired, western-style, salad, pastries, yoghurt, chiapudding etc. A big plus is the freshly brewed juices every morning with different mixes of fruit. Only key missing for me was oatmeal/porridge, but was no issue if requested. We had access to the kasara lounge open 10am-10pm. Mocktails served during all open hours, cocktails and canapes served between 4-6pm. Staff working there are super friendly, helpful, especially Jessie :) Shuttlebus to and from the market or market village was also a huge plus. Service is always on top, all anantara hotels have the highest of service standard, with all staff being super friendly, helpful, and caring. During the last few days, we didn’t have to say what kind of coffe we wanted, because the girl working there recognized us, and only asked for our table number, later serving us exactly with what we wanted.
