“5 star exterior with a 3 star interior”
The views are stunning and the buildings are very picturesque (especially the one we stayed in , Mountain). The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was just OK. “I thought I was in Versailles”
Back in its heyday this place must have been the Francophile owner’s Versailles, even today it looks grand despite the crumbling buildings, potholed roads, and overgrown garden. “Pretty, quiet, and awful breakfast”
Very nice reception building but the rest of the accommodation buildings are tired, the faux French architecture is badly executed. The grounds are lovely but the place is deserted, also no hot water for the 2 days even when the staff said it had been fixed.
