I enjoyed my Getaway Holiday at Le Monte Khao Yai - a Charming hotel with European decor. Conveniently located near Khao Yai National Park and other tourist attractions and restaurants. Happy with the Staff attentive service and high standard of cleanliness. Our Room has lovely view of the Garden and Mountain, and the Breakfast poolside area even has squirrels in the Garden.

“GOOD TOURIST CLASS HOTEL IN KY”

Our G4Fun group will plan at least one trip annually to cover different regions of Thailand. Our recollection was the last time we were in KY was 5 years ago. That time we enjoyed the expertise and assistance of one of the pioneers. He did all the planning etc. This is most likely the reason for Thailand being the top draw for all G4Fun trips every year. This time around, the trip was done through our regular tour agency. We found this hotel well placed in terms of location. The six golf courses selected were all within good travelling time. The hotel served buffet breakfast at 6am and there was no need to make a request to serve early to cater for our golf games. The breakfast spread was good although it is the same items every day of the week. Surely they can do by changing the fruits? At breakfast they offered the unique egg toast served in a clay plate.I particularly enjoyed this one. The front desk and other staff tried very hard to please.Sank at the front desk was exceptional. The facilities will appeal to families. The room safe deposit box is a challenge. Forget the soundproofing they have in place. There are massage shops and convenience stores all within walking distance of the hotel. The nearest shopping mall is some distance away. Grab exist but no drivers to take the order. Overall good stay at this tourist class hotel.

The hotel is conveniently located within the main road and close to the National Park entrance, which is probably what makes this hotel a good budget option. For the rest, everything is pretty standard, with the breakfast being probably the lowest point. In fact, the breakfast was very low quality with spoiled croissants. If you are looking for a clean and convenient place to stay, then this is a good option, but if you have higher expectations, then look elsewhere.

The hotel facilities were acceptable for most aspects. The sound proofing and the shower were deal breakers - we stayed at the room right next to the elevator and we could hear the service staff slamming doors and the next door neighbours talking very clearly. The shower temperature alternated between scalding hot and freezing cold without ever being in the comfortable range on the first night. It got slightly better the second night, then was not a problem at all on the last night. The cleanliness and the breakfast were the saving grace for the experience. They offered a good variety of food at breakfast and there were no problems at all. There were tents set up in the lawn to let guests chill and relax outdoors. The lights made the area very cozy at night. You can see that hotel tries hard to provide good service, but the hardware is unfortunately not as accommodating. The building went for a fake Italian style that was not tasteful. The thin walls and uncooperative shower made the stay uncomfortable.
