“Comfortable Hotel ”

Our stopover Hotel for the night at Lopburi town. Clean & comfortable bed. There is a shopping mall nearby where you can have your dinner. For the price that we paid for on our Budget tour , definitely a great stopover hotel to stay in.

MDR hotel is small hotel but nice. Located in side of main road in Lopburi. The room is clean and comfort, and wide enough. The bathroom is clean. Simple room. Every room have a hanger for our clothes but not in the cupboard. Simple menu breakfast is available in the small restourant, and almost same every day. The room rate is quite cheap, 900-1400 THB. This hotel near to Monkey Mall and night market (Tuesday and Thursday)

Well, in s mall town, please don’t expect international standards and you would be fine. Paid the difference and Upgraded our room to the rain shower one. Because the bathroom is something that is important for my children. The initial rooms that I booked (my mistake, I didn’t specify nor realize there were a few room types) were simple. But because it faced the setting sun therefore the room was really hot! It’s just for one night, I have no complains. Room is neat, simple, towels were clean (no longer yellowish if you read the reviews in 2016) Best is tesco is nearby, so we got all our snacks and drinks at the supermarket to help us spend the night.

Booked the MDR Hotel from home via Facebook Messenger App, and staff was very fast to reply - i had a look at their website and on the site it showed they had a MDR Suite which i requested and got confirmed, however i was a bit skeptic as it said N/A on the website , and i was proven right , not aw… more

Booked the MDR Hotel from home via Facebook Messenger App, and staff was very fast to reply - i had a look at their website and on the site it showed they had a MDR Suite which i requested and got confirmed, however i was a bit skeptic as it said N/A on the website , and i was proven right , not awailable after several messages, but i was then offered a Black Suite on ground floor, after checked in wich was smoothless , we got the room , first smell met us when opening the door was moulded and dam....hmmm thought the aircon need to runn for an hour or so , went back to room , still same smell...contacted reception and asked for looking other black suite , was the same , the black suites are bigger than their green suites which i requested to see , this was not smelly at all , and we got this instead , also cheaper as the size is smaller and very sparse in furniture , however big bathroom with tub - had 38in flatscreen tv and aircon, so all in all ok price incl BFast which was at he coffee shop opposite reception , hotel is located on a sitde soi to the mainroad and noise is running down the soi everytime a big truck passes by so be aware of this , the coffee shop serves nice thaifood at cheap prices and nearby is Tesco Lotus where they have burger king and kfc etc - travelling around city is complicated as no taxis around and only thai songthaew´s (pickup truck´s where you sit at the back) - also when going back to Bangkok bear in mind only 9 seater mini busses available at price of approx 150THB , trip takes approx 4 hours and they stop at one gas station and then at smaller stops to pick up people en-route to BKK -
