We went to this camp as part of a complete trip to the South and we stayed here after staying in a 3-star hotel in Tozeur for a night. I appreciate that the camp is being run and facilitated in a place away from civilization and that it at the end of the day is a camping area, so one should not expect a hotel, but all I expected at least was to be warm for the night. We did not know that the heat could be turned on in the rooms only if all the other lights were off, and that is something that should have been pointed out, or at least the camp staff should have showed us when showing us into our tents. The tent was made for four people but yet the blankets were not enough on each bed for two grown adults. I had to sleep in my clothes to try to stay warm, but I stayed up for most of the night because I was too cold to sleep. So I suggest that more bedding and blankets be added for the winter or that instead of king sized beds for campers that they give us single beds with bedding for each bed. So a tip is for summer and winter days, ask the staff to come and turn on the heating or cooling. There was hot water in the bathroom. Our guide obviously had not booked us any entertainment for the night, so we sat in front of the fire, basically doing nothing in the cold before we went back to our tents for a cold night. The breakfast was basic, but good, and the dinner was tasty and was made up of courses of traditional Tunisian food. You can get a great view of the the sunrise and sunset from the tower, and then you can rent quads to go to the remnants of Kasr Ghilane in the middle of the desert. This seems like a great place to be in warmer weather, but for the colder days, booking an actual room that will keep in the heat may be a better idea. It is definitely an experience though. My last suggestion is to have only two adults in each tent because it is difficult having four adults with their luggage in a tent. And to be fair, I am not a camper , so if you are used to camping and know what you are in for, you will already know what the experience is like. I would not say it is a 5 star camp, but more like 4 or 3.

If you want to have an adventure night in the middle of the desert, especially combined with a trip on quads(atvs), it´s a very good place. If you want to have an adventure night in the middle of the desert, especially combined with a trip on quads(atvs), it´s a very good place. On the other side the tents are very outdated, as is the rest of the resort area. Unfortunatelly since few years ago, tourists are obviously not visiting this place very often. So dont expect a great pool - but its ok for refreshment and swimming Dont expect Michelin´s cuisine - but the food is ok and we didnt get sick:) Dont expect luxury accommodation - but it´s not too dirty Expect fantastic sky during the night - full of stars Expect great views over the dunes of sand
