Our experience at Museum Hotel was nothing short of incredible! The staff are incredibly helpful, kind, and hospitable - GRADE A SERVICE! The rooms are beautiful and unique; we were impressed by the upscale experience while still in a cave. THE VIEWS ARE INSANE! The daily breakfast started with a traditional Turkish spread and then lots of other food and drink options to add on - we loved all the egg dishes! Everything was fresh, local, and elevated - plus the restaurant is gorgeous! The hotel felt like a bit of an oasis as it’s away from the busyness of Goreme - but still close and convenient when we wanted to be in the action. If we have the opportunity to visit Cappadocia again - we will absolutely be staying at Museum Hotel again!

Our stay at the Museum Hotel was truly memorable. The setting is magical — you wake up to hot-air balloons rising across the sky and enjoy sweeping views of the valleys right from your terrace. Breakfast on the patio was one of the highlights of our entire trip — delicious, generous, and beautifully presented with plenty of local touches. We stayed in Room 200, which had a huge private outdoor space and an incredible view. It was quiet, spacious, and very comfortable — with a bed that felt perfect after long days of exploring. The bathroom amenities were excellent, and I especially appreciated the professional-grade hairdryer (a rare find for anyone with long hair!). Every day after cleaning, the staff left a tray of Turkish Delight, and in the evening, a small homemade treat on the bed at turndown — such a thoughtful touch. The service throughout was outstanding — warm, attentive, and genuinely caring. The property itself is beautiful, filled with history, charm, and little surprises — from the peacocks wandering the grounds to the turtle garden tucked into the courtyard. If I had to note one small drawback, the room lighting was a bit dark, and the glass bathroom doors offered little privacy. But those details are minor compared to everything that makes this place extraordinary. The Museum Hotel is luxurious, full of character, and absolutely unforgettable. It’s one of those places that stays with you long after you’ve left.

we visited with another couple who we have traveled the world with. This property is beautifully done and has many unique features architecturally and decoratively. Unlike another place, we have stayed here in Turkey, everything seemed to work, the towel heater, all the plumbing. The staff was very attentive, and the food at the restaurant was five star. The one thing I would say, and this is probably not unlike other properties in the area is that there are steep inclines with little lighting and no handrails. We arrived late at night due to the flight schedules and it had been raining. We were taken to a beautiful room which was through an outside courtyard and down exterior stairs, which were unlit, long, and very steep. The risers on the stairs are not even and some are quite high. There were other places with fewer steps, but with no railing at all. My husband raised this with a manager and was told: “well there’s no law that requires railings“ With such a high class property in so many other ways one would hope they would be a bit more attentive to the safety of their guests. luckily, we had no mishap.
