This hotel is a great place to stay for adventuring in Istanbul. The rooms are a little small and Tv has no English channels. To be honest this encouraged us to do more and take advantage of the spa in the evening which closes at 12am. The breakfast is varied and great value with loads of choice and variety. The staff are very helpful and obliging with a big shout out to our lovely chamber maid. The area surrounding the hotel is convenient for super markets, cake shops and restaruants. There are some lovely restaurants a little further down the road with buskers lending to a great atmospheres. The Hotel is 15 minutes walk from the Blue Mosque and all Other surrounding attractions. We will return to this amazing fast and furious city

“Good Hotel Great Location”

Spent 2 nights at the Hotel with a warm welcome. The Hotel is a little dated but very clean and the staff very good, special mention to Yunus who was always there around the entrance to help. Great position for he Blue Mosque and other attractions. Would Recommend.

First of all, the hotel does not look like the pictures. It is older and in need of a lot of restoration. I came with my family and we had 2 rooms on the 1st floor. The front desk staff is wonderful. They were very helpful and very interested in our satisfaction. They are the best part of the hotel. The pool is warm and the sauna and steam room and Turkish bath area are very nice. There are broken wood tiles around the pool, but otherwise this was a nice feature, especially the heated floor on the pool patio area. The hotel is 10-15 minutes walk to most major sites (Haggia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, German Fountain, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace). The Grand Bazaar is about a 20 minute walk. The walk from the hotel is all uphill to the center and downhill going back. There are really good restaurants within a few streets of the hotel and the food is excellent. The hotel wifi is horrible. It continues to cut in and out and is not reliable. Some days it barely worked and this was extremely frustrating. Don't get a room in the front of the hotel because there is a lot of noise from the street and the park across the street has a lot of noise until around midnight. We found broken furniture in both rooms, wall paper peeling off the wall and the TV did not work. The bathroom had what looked like mold around the shower, but the hot water and the pressure were good. The bed was also very good in both rooms. When speaking to other guests, they said the same thing, so it was not just our opinion. The breakfast didn't open until 7:30, which is too late since many of the people in the hotel start their tours around 6-6:30am. Most 4 star hotels start breakfast at 6:00 or 6:30am for this reason. For the price we paid it was not horrible, but we expected better for a 4 star hotel. If you don't really care about the appearance then the hotel would be fine. If you are only sleeping there and not spending much time in the room, it's not that bad.

This is an aging property that is in need of a face lift. Location is good and on a relatively quiet street. The photos look much better than what it is today. The looby has poor lighting and needs new carpets and furniture updating. The rooms are in simialr shape with the bathroom pretty much falling apart with water leaking through the shower door onto the floor. Staff was friendly but were looking to sell you a tour or any add on. We paid $100 U.S. a night so not the a complete disaster. Breakfast was fine but overall it was a disappointment and we would not stay here again.
