Our stay at Barceló Istanbul was excellent from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, very clean, and in a fantastic central location with easy access to Taksim and the main attractions. The rooms were comfortable, modern, and cleaned to a very high standard every day. A special mention must go to Birol, who provided truly outstanding customer service throughout our stay. He was always friendly, polite, and incredibly attentive, making sure everything in our room was spotless and that we had everything we needed. His warm attitude and professionalism did not go unnoticed and genuinely made our experience even more enjoyable. It is rare to come across someone so dedicated and caring in their role. Staff like Birol are a real credit to the hotel. Because of his kindness and hard work, along with the overall excellent standards of the hotel, we would happily recommend Barceló Istanbul to anyone visiting the city and would definitely stay here again.

Excellent city hotel, very comfortable with good service. It's located very close to Taksim Square, so ideal for eating out, transport etc, but in a very quiet location so it was quiet at night. Excellent city hotel, very comfortable with good service. It's located very close to Taksim Square, so ideal for eating out, transport etc, but in a very quiet location so it was quiet at night. Room was excellent - very comfortable and spotlessly clean, good firm mattress on the bed, nice comfortable chairs, mini bar and tea and coffee making facilities, bottles of mineral water provided every day, good aircon and excellent shower. The room was spotless and kept like that every day. The staff generally were very helpful and pleasant. Laundry service was excellent and very quick, though pricey (but where isn't it these days?) Breakfast was very good, with a good range of hot and cold food but no gluten-free bread etc available. Despite that I ate well. The hotel bar only does a limited selection of dishes for lunch or dinner, but the streets around the hotel are lined with restaurants so there are plenty of places to eat. Recommended.
