We stayed at this hotel as part of a group of 43. On arrival, we noticed quite a few stairs leading up to the foyer. There was a steep ramp, but thankfully the staff were quick to help us with our cases, which set a positive tone for our visit. The rooms were more than adequate, with some of our group even allocated suites. The rooftop restaurant served very good food, though it was a little disappointing to see a waiter feeding the seagulls walking across the roof tiles. Drinks were also on the expensive side. What really made our stay memorable was the staff. They were absolutely fantastic — nothing was too much trouble. When we experienced an issue with a taxi driver, the hotel team went above and beyond to help resolve the situation, even contacting the police on our behalf. Overall, despite a few minor drawbacks, the excellent service and dedication of the staff made this a very enjoyable stay.

We recently stayed at Darkhill Hotel in Istanbul for 4 days. Overall, our experience was satisfactory and the hotel offers good value for money, especially considering its central location and access to key attractions. However, there are several areas that could use improvement. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas could be better maintained, as we noticed some lapses during our stay. Additionally, the breakfast options were limited and became repetitive over the days—we would have appreciated a bit more variety. One of the main drawbacks was the accessibility and availability of the swimming pool and spa area, which is located on the congested second level. The space felt cramped and lacked proper ventilation, making it uncomfortable at times. Furthermore, the lift service was extremely slow, which added unnecessary waiting time, especially during busy hours. In summary, Darkhill Hotel offers a decent stay at a reasonable price, but some improvements in cleanliness, facilities access, and amenities would go a long way in enhancing the overall guest experience.

My parent went with a friend to Istanbul and spent a couple of days in this hotel. They said that the best thing about it was the location, but the rest was not that great. The room was clean enough but the beds very small. They tried the spa and were quite disappointed. Apparently, the hammam is beautiful but it is run down and not very clean (very bad smell that goes up to the elevator). The employees who did the massage were nice but it was not a real professional massage. It seems that women have to go through the men's area before getting to theirs, which feels awkward. They also tried the restaurant at the terrace. The view was fantastic but the prices very high.
