We recently stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Istanbul Kağıthane and it honestly ranks among my best Istanbul hotel experiences. Arrival set the tone: the lobby is spacious, bright, and welcoming, and the front-desk associate was both friendly and thoughtful—she considered our situation and extended a complimentary upgrade to a corner room on a high floor. Room & sleep quality: Our upgraded corner room was bright, very clean, and comfortably sized for two. Soundproofing was excellent; with the windows closed we had peaceful, uninterrupted sleep. High-quality curtains blocked light effectively in the morning. Bathroom & amenities: The bathroom was immaculate—freshly mopped, fully stocked (soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc.), and the walk-in shower was large with strong water pressure and consistent temperature throughout (a big deal in Istanbul, where we’ve had mixed experiences elsewhere). The room included a safe, complimentary bottled water, and a properly stocked mini-fridge—all appreciated touches. Public spaces & service: The lobby is not just attractive—it’s practical, with a café/bar setup that makes grabbing a coffee or a quick bite easy. Every staff member we interacted with was courteous, welcoming, and accommodating from start to finish. Location: The hotel sits on a main road (easy for taxis) and is within walking distance of Axis Istanbul Mall; it’s also positioned for straightforward access to central sights like Taksim and the Golden Horn area. From Istanbul Airport, typical driving time is around 30 minutes depending on traffic. Room for improvement: After checkout, my wife realized she’d left a watch in the room. Housekeeping located it (thank you!), but we didn’t receive a call. A proactive lost-and-found phone or email notification when items are recovered would be a simple, high-impact service upgrade. Verdict: Fantastic value and comfort. Spotless room, excellent shower, thoughtful staff, and a convenient location. We’d gladly return and will recommend this property to friends visiting Istanbul.

It was a pleasant stay and the staff was very welcoming. The breakfast gets boring after a couple of days since there is no variation. The rooms were always clean when we got back and there was practically no noise during the nights. Location was great and close to Sisli. The beds were as hard as a rock so if this is an issue for you, I would look at another hotel. I will rate my experience as a 4 out of 5, but I will not stay here again because of the beds.
