This is a wonderful boutique hotel filled with character and charm. The rooms are very lovely and the service is impressive. Breakfast came with our room - a choice of Turkish, American style or Healthy. They were all awesome with huge portions that were very fresh. The coffee is outstanding too! The location is about a ten minute walk to the Grande Bazaar and the Spice Market, as well as many great restaurants. I would definitely come back to this hotel next time I come to Istanbul.

Picked this amongst the autograph c hotels I’ve stayed and I wasn’t disappointed. What made this stay especially special was the impeccable standard of service , I felt welcome throughout and though am sure they mistook the first & last names , I think if hotels addressed by personal names like they did , it would be all that much better and warmer . Two names nevertheless stood out for me , yana at the front desk , and furkan both of whom demonstrated true natural qualities to making sure our needs would be met . I’ve to say more than ever so . Credit to Eyup as well whose leadership no doubt contributes to this . Thank you for recommending and making the bookings , for the boat cruise and as well the Hamam , I’ve to say the boat cruise wasn’t quite as expected thats not the fault of anyone , but the hamam well above our expectations. The hotel itself was remarkable for the history , and they were quick to mention its history when we checked in plus its undermentioned bragging rights of being the site for its James Bond fame , Skyfall . Impressive as that may be I still hv to be thankful we got given an unrequested upgrade which proved comfortably useful since our two bags for winter clothes would hv made our earlier selection probably a little compromising. Tq too for yet again another unrequested allowance of a late check out . These very reasons I feel compelled to provide a genuine review of our travels there . Another plus point must be said of its location . It’s central enough but yet peacefully positioned to give us the best of the two , and as I peered outside our hotel window , set out in front of us just like a postcard , we found a perfect picture of an historic Istanbul along with its charm and beauty . What more I could add other its magnificent roof top view , which I won’t need to speak much of since this already appears as its tributory selling point . I can only add it’s a pity they didn’t make more use of this space . I could imagine itself being an astonishing breakfast space . Anyway I’ve said enough , and just so those who might be making choices have enough to know what they will sign up into . Thank you to the hotel staff again for making a stay here all the more enjoyable.

Was here for just under a week, these guys "nailed it". From the very start the hotel staff where wonderful, allowing an early checkin and giving some great extra info about places to go and stay away from (tourist traps). No issues with getting late checkout. As an elite member of Marriott i get choice credit on the bill (its small) or points (small). I chose the credit as might had got a drink at the bar, well didnt, on checked they converted it to the points, Wow, ever other Marriott I been in left it as is. These guys made you feel like an individual just not some number who came and went. If I come back this is high on my list to stay. So how about useful information when you are staying here. Well Google can tell you everything anyway but incase you havent used it: a) Great access to the old town. You can walk to all the major historic sights. We did. b) You're near the metro (use to get to Asian side but make sure you get Istanbul card). Tram line T1 is right there. 10 min walk to a major bus area. Also the ferry port is right there and can even get one to Bursa. c) Airport - Took Havaist bus from H11. It drops you by T1 tram stop (Eminonu) near enough and maybe its 10 mins up slight incline with bags. Lot of the way is pretty flat but you have some cobble stones. Put a pic in of the road to the hotel so you can see what road is like. Now for some reason the bus going back had been cancelled, but lucky can take T1 tram to Aksaray and walk 5 mins to HVL1 line. d) Food and shops - stay away from the Tourist traps, eat where you see the locals and they do eat in lots places near by. Ok back to the hotel and the food. Only had breakfast which you take at the roof top restaurant that has some great views. Choice of "healthy, American or Turkish" breakfast and wow they guys under any option give you a ton of food. You are not going hungry, especially everyday they give you some "special on the house" extra. Again staff are really nice and friendly. The hotel is a historic building so dont expect huge rooms but one we had was great. Cute small bathroom part but it was very comfortable.
