“Very good”

For me the most important thing is clean beathrooms and bed sheets and my judgment is 10/10. Breakfast was wide spectrum, for everyone’s taste. :) Only complaint is for TOO SLOW internet. The staff is communicative and always smiling.

This hotel is located in Istanbul. It has a metro/tram station nearby. So let me talk about the room. We had 2 rooms No 407 and 503. The rooms were very clean, everything was okay but there’s a min point, the air conditioner wasn’t working well it was very slow and not as cold as told but other than that everything was perfect. The people were friendly, nice receptionists I completely understood their English. The bad thing is, the WiFi wasn’t working as supposed, however it did work in the rooms. Now the breakfast talk I did like the food and stuff like that but however I stayed at the hotel for 1 week and I had to eat the same breakfast though that isn’t a bad thing but the fries weren’t fresh enough it looked like they were used the day before. Something had happened the other day. I went out to the beach and once I got back it was around 12 am the rooms weren’t cleaned. The bed sheets weren’t changed and when we talked to the manager we had to talk to the cleaning ladies as well and they weren’t friendly. They kept staring and whispering something in Turkey about us perhaps, making weird faces. The ladies on the fifth floor aren’t very friendly but the ones on forth floor excused themselves and cleaned everything. I’d give this on a scale of 1 to 10, a big 7,5 good job

“Good Budget Hotel close to Tram and Metro.”

The hotel is located on a very crowded street full of local shops. At any time there are many people on the street hawking their wares and the street is jammed with vehicles. Istanbul as a city does also have its share of pickpockets, con artistes and scammers. On one of the days i saw a person running after a thief right on the Laleli tram station. Another instance where an apparent con guy posed as a tourist asking for directions while I saw him in the same location doing the same thing again. So one must exercise caution in the immediate vicinity with personal things. The Hotel is a clean budget hotel. Rooms are just ok for 1 person and the bathroom is small. There is no view as the window is either blocked and after a change of room it overlooked the street partially. The staff is quite responsive to service issues and resolve things fast like the time the bathroom lights were not working. Breakfast is a decent spread with Omlette, boiled eggs, fruits, juice, bread, soup, ham, sausage, cake , tea and coffee. It’s on A level and does get crammed because of its small area. The Grand Bazaar is just a tram stop away. To reach here from the Atatturk airport, take the metro to Yenikapi station, approx 45 minutes. Transfer to M2 line underground and alight at the next stop Vezneciler, time 2 minutes. Ask for directions towards the Tram station Laleli which is a short walk of 5 minutes. From here the hotel is a 3 minute walk and the street is just opposite the Mosque. At the entrance of the street you will also see Martinez Hotel and Prestige Hotel. The easy way for transportation is to take the Istanbul Kart which is a contact led card and can be used on the metro, tram, bus and ferries. There is a kiosk at the airport close to the metro for this , it costs 6 liras and can be refilled with any amount in the Vending machines near every tram and metro station. “I expected more!”

I spent 4 days in this hotel, but I wish that I did not. First, the neighbourhood is so loud, it was hard to sleep at night with all that noise. The room was ok, the beds were not that comfortable and the bathroom was small. Also the walls are like paper and you can here people talking in the room… more

I spent 4 days in this hotel, but I wish that I did not. First, the neighbourhood is so loud, it was hard to sleep at night with all that noise. The room was ok, the beds were not that comfortable and the bathroom was small. Also the walls are like paper and you can here people talking in the room next to yours. The room was not cleaned at all, we did not even get clean towels!! The breakfast was really good, variety of options. The wi-fi does not work in the room, only on the reception. The best thing is that is close to both tram and metro station (5mins of walking). You can take tram T1 that will take you to famous Sultanahmet district.
