“Business Trip to Istanbul”

Went to Istanbul on a business trip. Tried this place for the first time. Pros: 1. Location - It is not on a main road. The location is good but it is in a neighbourhood. Nearest metro station is around 15-20 mins walk. However, you have restaurants and convenience stores on walking distance. If you can walk, then this place is good to stay. 2. Room - it is spacious. It is not lavish. But it is clean. The bedding is comfortable. Note that the heater was not on by default. You have to call the reception to switch the AC on. 3.Staff - The reception is very friendly and even offered free coffee :). The lobby is very friendly and good place to work. 4. Breakfast - I didn't opt for it. Did it from outside. Cons: 1. Room lighting can be improved. 2. No other point I can think of. Overall experience 9/10 Previously I have been staying at Delta Hotels Levent. Compared to it, obviously the experience cannot be compared. Will I stay again? Yes probably if I have budget constraint.

We visited Stayso in Istanbul and we had a really wonderful time. First off the hotel is very nice located, off the center in a more local neighbourhood, lots to see and explore, nice restaurants, beautiful streets etc. We were lucky to to be helped on several occasions by a really nice staff - Erhan, Talha, Sinor and Sabahattin. Helped us changing rooms, finding farmacy late night ordering food to the hotel and making great coffee in the morning :) I would really recommend anyone going to Istanbul to stay at Stayso, we will definitely come back to Istanbul and stay here. So thank you very much for a great experience !

A loveley hotel with a very nice staff. The reception team did everything possible to make us feel like home. The evening I arrived, I discovered that in the room was a little bit cold and that the safebox had no instructions and was locked. In addition, I needed one more blanket. Although we were initially told by the reception that we cannot get an extra blanket because there is no one from cleaning in the hotel, Theo from the reception made a lot of phone calls, talked to x and y and in the end we got one more blanket, he unlocked the safebox and turned on the radiator. The hotel is very nicely decorated, it is cozy, the atmosphere is good, the breakfast is very good and it is impeccably clean. You get complementary water and free parking. However, I can't say that in terms of comfort, I felt extraordinary. Room is nice and you have a lot of space to put you stuff but... The curtains are too short and too thin, so you can't make the room completely dark. Nothing is soundproofed, neither the windows nor the walls, so you hear everything from the street, scooters, horns, guests talking on the terrace... You can hear everything from the neighboring rooms, from how the water runs to how the toilet paper spins on its support. Then the heat :) There is something really funny here: the radiator has a decorative metal plate in front, so you couldn't access the thermostat. I don't even know if he had one. In any case, if you wanted more heat in the room, you had to talk to the reception to turn on the heater from somewhere outside the room. If it was too hot, you had to call the reception to turn it down and so on. To prevent this from happening, the recommendation was to turn on the heater and if it's too hot... to turn on the air conditioning :) Unfortunately, the air conditioning only works on cold so it could not be used as a heater. Another funny thing was with the safe. It was not fixed to the wall or furniture, so anyone could leave with it. I attached a photo. On TV I found only one channel in English, e news channel, where the same news was repeated every 30 minutes, so after a while it became useless. There were still a few English channels, in theory, because they didn't work. Even some of the Turkish programs scrambled. The mattress is a bit hard for my taste and the pillows a bit stiff. Luckily I had a memory foam pillow in the trunk and used that. Eventually, I solved the noise with earplugs, the light with a rolled up blanket placed at the base of the curtain and so on. Taking into account that as a whole I felt good here, we will probably return. Once again, I thank the guys at the reception, Sabahattin for being so attentive and everyone for taking care of us.
