The area might look dodgy but it's perfectly fine really and then apparent dodginess is common in many streets of Istanbul I found. The area might look dodgy but it's perfectly fine really and then apparent dodginess is common in many streets of Istanbul I found. The hotel is near a taxi station and the staff will offer to talk to them in way to avoid tourists being ripped off, which is pretty common in Istanbul. The good: spacious room (we stayed in a 3x standard) well furnished, the location (near Demiroren center in Istiklal St. and Taksim metro), very kind staff, the price. The breakfast is ok albeit limited but then it's fine for the price. I didn't might the street noise as the hotel does offer ear plugs and it really becomes some sort of white noise and it was not annoying even for me that sleeps lightly. It has 2 entrances: One in Tarlabasi boulevard and the other in an alley parallel to Tarlabasi under the name Aytuna Hotel. Overall I would recommend staying in the hotel. I had a good experince.

“10 Suites Taxim”

Great hotel if you want to stay near Taksim Square,although area seems a little dodgy we had no problems no matter what time we came in.Room exacly as described,breakfast fine and the staff were excellent.

I stayed two nights at 10 Suites. It seems like a new spot so it was clean. The room we got was spacious, but the bathroom was very cramped. I stayed two nights at 10 Suites. It seems like a new spot so it was clean. The room we got was spacious, but the bathroom was very cramped. My knees touched the opposite wall while I was doing my business. The room had modern flair to it, and we kept our valuables in a safe. The three gentlemen who ran the place were very friendly and helped us as much as they could with directions and places to visit. It was at a good location on the east-most point of Istiklal Caddesi. We took a shuttle to Taksim and walked about a half-mile to the location. I'd stay here again. The included breakfast buffet was standard fare for Turkey. Nothing extraordinary; it was adequate.
