Short version, stay here! The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice. If you get a room with the view, you won’t be disappointed. The location is perfect if you are there for the usual sites and want some night life. Long version. The rooms are spacious enough for the actual size. The room we had was third floor and overlooked the small square and the Bosphorus. Great view, only drawback was the noise. It was manageable but did go late. There is a mosque next door so when it’s their turn for call to prayer it’s a little loud. But that is part of the experience of coming to Istanbul. The staff was always welcoming and helpful. The rooftop lounge was open to the public. So, it was busy at times. The menu is limited but what they have is very good. If you are going to Istanbul to see the usual sites (Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, Bazaars, etc…) We felt this was the perfect location. There is a tram station about 3 min walk from the hotel. The T1 Tram takes you right into the old city. There are stops for the Mosques and Cistern (Sultanahmet), the Grand Bazaar (Beyazit) and many others. This is also very walkable. The ride from the hotel stop to Sultanahmet was about 4-5 min. If you are going north, the tram is also good to get out of heavy Karakoy traffic before getting on a bus. Galata tower is also very close. You can see it from the rooftop café. You can walk up, but it is very steep. The Tunel is across the road and will get you up the hill. In the evening there are lots of options for cafés and a few bars. Two of our favorites were the Wolf Irish Pub and Zulu Karakoy. Both a few minute walk from the hotel. In our opinion, Karaköy, specifically this location was perfect for the first time visitor. You have easy access to all the popular landmarks. Tram, Metro, Ferry and Bus options to get you everywhere else.

“Lovely boutique hotel in a wonderful location!”

We spent 4 nights at this property end of March 2026. This small (20 rooms) boutique hotel is all modern lines in style with an 80's feel, original artworks in alleyways and a tribute to the legendary Turkish aviator Hezârfen Ahmed Çelebi. Its location is absolutely excellent, in the lively Karaköy district, which is still very much genuine and not too touristy, though close to the iconic Galata.bridge and right on the water where the Golden Horn meets the Bosphorus! We had a corner suite with sea view which was very spacious with 4 windows looking out to the Sultanhamet peninsula and views over the bosphorus, simply amazing! The room decor is modern and all the amenities of a high quality hotel are provided: free bottled water, coffee and tea set, bathrobes, slippers. Our bathroom was equally roomy with a huge shower. The only amenity missing is, strangely, the body lotion, as other guests have noticed! Being a small property breakfast is not buffet but you can order from different set options which are all plentyful, of good quality and well presented. Breakfast is served on the top floor room and terrace with again wonderful views! Staff is really very welcoming, professional and friendly. The hotel is currently not reachable by cars but the lovely staff will be more than happy to give directions to your driver and escort you with your luggage for the short walk to the main road. Minor aspects that could be improved: the towel sets are slightly worn out, lotion could be added to the toiletries, the breakfast offer could be extended. In all a great boutique hotel in a great location, a perfect mid-range choice to explore this amazing city with lots of nice restaurants around!

Great location -- on the Bosphorus River, next to the 5-star Peninsula Hotel, within walking distance of the Bosphorus bridge and Galata Tower. And lots of restaurants, cafes, bars within a short walk. Our room was very nice, well appointed with mini fridge and safe. Great shower. No bar/lounge… more

Great location -- on the Bosphorus River, next to the 5-star Peninsula Hotel, within walking distance of the Bosphorus bridge and Galata Tower. And lots of restaurants, cafes, bars within a short walk. Our room was very nice, well appointed with mini fridge and safe. Great shower. No bar/lounge, but plenty in the area. The rooftop restaurant offered breakfast and a few items for dinner, but really is not worth while for anything other than the free breakfast. Even that was extremely limited and not somewhere I would eat again if I had to pay for it. The reception staff speaks great English and was really helpful. The restaurant staff spoke very little English and that made it difficult to ask questions or specify how I wanted my eggs done, etc. Overall we were delighted with our stay here, as far as location and rooms. Seems to be a good price performer.

Absolutely perfectly placed in the city by the harbor. Breakfast is a treat and the staff is out of this world friendly and serviceminded. Rooms are quite large, and the noise level absolutely acceptable. You can hear the ships a little bit, but only on a very low level. Cleanliness is great, and for a capital hotel this close to the water i find it is good value for the price. The reason why i do not give 5 stars is that the hotel seems a bit "used", and could use a bit of maintenance. Nothing major, just little things. We loved it and can recommend it for sure.
