My wife and I had the incredible privilege of visiting Ambergris Cay in late February/early March. Wow—this has to be one of the most beautiful spots in the Caribbean. We flew to Providenciales and then caught the private turboprop to Ambergris. We met our butler, Jason, who was very kind and eager to please. He took us on a quick island tour by golf cart and then showed us to our exceptional villa, which had one of the most beautiful sunsets we’ve ever seen. The fixtures and furnishings inside the villa were first class. Each villa has a plunge pool just outside the sliding door. Food was excellent—nothing overpowering, with plenty of options whether you’re aiming to indulge or stay on the healthy side. The island is beautiful and quite large, especially considering the small number of guests. We walked six miles one morning and might have seen only one other person. The all-inclusive setup is fantastic, especially knowing that food costs in Turks are so expensive. Special requests were happily granted, including our specific milk for in-villa coffee. The same was true for our meals. Bartenders were awesome…I’ve never had a rum sour better (or fresher) than the one GK made on our last night. Fitness center is stunning—the views take your breath away, and the weight machines are in perfect condition. Don’t miss the floating bar—the boat ride is easy, and we had a blast. I’m writing this review six weeks after our trip, so my wife and I have had some time to reflect on the experience. The setting is exactly what you’d expect for a gorgeous private island in the Caribbean, and the experiences and activities were just as we wanted. What makes me confident we’ll return (perhaps even bringing the kids) is the warm and welcoming staff. Those we were lucky enough to meet truly stole the show. Miguel and Vishnu, in particular, were so focused on making our entire experience spectacular.

From the moment we arrived, the level of service, privacy, and attention to detail set the tone for a truly luxury escape. The culinary experience alone was outstanding—every meal was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and consistently exceeded expectations. To fully appreciate what Ambergris Cay offers, we highly recommend taking advantage of their curated excursions. Our conch diving experience was unforgettable and absolutely worth it. We also enjoyed a private picnic on Little Ambergris Cay, where the team elevated the day even further by taking us fishing beforehand and then preparing a perfectly executed lunch upon arrival. It felt completely personalized and exclusive. Another standout was the floating Hangover Bar—such a unique and well-executed experience that added to the overall luxury feel of the trip. What truly separates Ambergris Cay is the balance of high-end service with complete seclusion. You can go 20 minutes—or longer—without seeing another guest, which creates an unmatched sense of privacy. Yet, whenever you need anything, the staff is warm, attentive, and always ready to assist. For families, there is more than enough to keep everyone engaged. Between the excursions and simply enjoying the property, we actually ran out of time and didn’t even get to experience all of the water activities at the clubhouse. Ambergris Cay delivers a rare combination of luxury, exclusivity, and authentic experiences. We highly recommend it and are already looking forward to returning.

“Honeymoon Trip!!!”

We came on our honeymoon!! It was the best experience! The only thing I would change would be for us to stay longer. Our butler, Monica, was incredible!! We will for sure be back here!!! Loved every second. The staff is incredible and so hospitable!!

My wife and I celebrated our Honeymoon here, and we both fell in love with the place, service, and food. Our bungalow was always cleaned and provided the perfect private pool, hammock, and place to see the stars. Room service was always excellent. Our personal butler, Clay, was outstanding. We had a personal phone to reach out with any questions and he was on top of responding very quickly. The rest of the staff was always positive and friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Highly recommend Ambergris Cay to all!
