Bay Club Restaurant. Wonderful buffet with something for everyone, even the pickiest eaters. Htun, our waiter today, was attentive, generous and fun. Thank you, Doubletree by Hilton, Ras Al Khaimah, it’s always a pleasure staying with you and being looked after by your great staff.

We just returned from 10 days at Hilton RAK. It was our 2nd holiday at this hotel. In my opinion the hotel is a 4-5 star, location is 5 star. We had a great holiday. As others have said the all inclusive options can be a bit confusing but once you get the hang of it, it's ok. We didn't go for the ultra all inclusive as it's only 2 of us and for us it only really affected getting a drink of your choice before mid-day. We are quite late risers on holiday so by the time we got up and got down to breakfast it was usually 10:45 so we had plenty of teas and coffee at breakfast anyway and then you can still have juice , tea, coffee, water etc before 12 on the deal anyway so wasn't an issue for us. Dinner time could be organised slightly better it can feel like a bit of a free for all but the hotel was at 100% capacity while we stayed so extremely busy with a lot of people to look after. Their are some lovely restaurants in the complex which we decided to eat out every other night and broke it up a bit for us. You do get a discount towards eating at them and it works out approx £60.00 for a 3 course meal for 2 of us with your discount and you can still have the drinks off the all inclusive menu which i thought was decent. Nice restaurants, very calm atmosphere's and impeccable service. Have to give a mention to the Hilton staff they are amazing, always ready to help, always got a smile and always very friendly including the room cleaning staff, I cannot fault their staff. We had one complaint really, in the complex their are a couple of beach shops selling little souvenirs etc, my Wife went to get our towels one morning which is next to the souvenir stands and the Hilton towel guy had gone off to get more clean towels. One of the guys from the souvenir shops decided to try and help and said there is 1 towel and probably best to come back in 10 mins, fair enough. But he then decided to tell my Wife that she is beautiful and he loves her etc, which made her feel very uncomfortable and not really what you expect at a 5 star Hilton in the UAE. He wasn't Hilton direct staff but obviously have the the concession to work on site and I would assume would have been checked as above board and appropriate but obviously not. I should have made Hilton management aware but I didn't want to spend my holiday standing at desks asking to speak to people etc, I went down 10 mins later to get the towels and had a word with the man in question myself and we didn't have any issues after that but left a bit of a sour taste and my Wife didn't feel comfortable getting the towels after that. One other gripe they don't have a grocery shop on site so you can get stuff delivered off an app much like Uber. They won't allow delivery drivers on the complex and previously security would accept the delivery and leave at reception for you to collect. For some reason security stopped doing this and so on a couple of occasions I had to walk from the beach to the front gate of the hotel to take a delivery. Slightly annoying as no shops on site or local really and hotels should accept small deliveries to be left at the front desk etc. Just to recap: Hotel--good Location--great Rooms--good and cleaned daily Food--standard all inclusive but something for everyone, can be overly busy. Additional on site restaurants--very good, calm, peaceful. Beach and beach bar--great. Hilton hotel staff--fantastic. Additional on site staff--questionable. To be fair only 1 person and could have been just covering for someone for a day or so. Would we stay again--yes without a doubt.
